The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

"Zima v Prostokvashino" or "Winter in Prostokvashino" is the third and last installment of Popov and Uspenskiy's Uncle Fyodor short film series. This one runs for under 16 minutes and came out in 1984, 6 years after the first and 4 years after the second. The title already describes. it is the winter holidays and Fyodor and his family visit their canine and feline friends out where it is really cold. I must say I found this short film certainly fairly uninteresting, not on par with the 2 previous installments. The music is not too memorable either and I am referring to the very last scene with this. I am not too angry that the series ended with this short film, maybe it was already one too many. Still, if you really loved the first two, you can check this one out as well, otherwise skip it. You will not be missing too much. Not recommended unless you're a huge fan of what was before.
