As WALL-E clings to the ship taking EVE back to the Axiom, he dislodges a rock that damages a light on the Axiom. BURN-E, tasked with repairing it, faces several setbacks, including distractions from WALL-E and EVE's antics. He eventually succeeds but is repeatedly thwarted in his attempts to re-enter the ship due to various mishaps. When the Axiom lands on Earth, BURN-E finally activates the repaired light, only for it to be destroyed immediately, leaving him frustrated but comforted by SUPPLY-R.
