A beautiful film. adaptation for a great book. inspired performances, touching music, wise use of sensibility. short, a film who propose the open gate to a magnificent universe, a secret and a not usual love story. sure, it is not perfect. but it is one of films giving, after years, the flavor of novel. its delicate traits and atmosphere and magic and the circles of modern fairy tale. and that is more than a good point. or a virtue. it represents the fair gift for each viewer and reader of the book.

I felt that this film really did good job following how the book went. The plot was really good. I really liked how they show different point of view or ays of life, The acting was really top notch . The Fantasy part really went well with other parts of the film without over powering the rest of the film.
A film that people should watch.

Tuck Everlasting is a decent enough film. I think Alexis Bledel is a better actress than she is given credit for, and again, much like in her later film 'Post Grad' gives a good performance when dealing with not so great material. The problem with this film, much like many classic kids books adapted for screen, is that there are too many changes made along the way in order to make it a more entertaining film. This spoils the film for me a bit and I ended up wanting to read the book again rather than watch the film. However, if you've never read the book I imagine you'll enjoy this film fine.

Tuck Everlasting exceeded expectations! It's a mature and contemplative movie about, wait for it... immortality. Did not expect that from a Disney family film.Alexis Bledel rebels against the boundaries set by her 19th century rich parents and ends up finding out a big secret about a family living in the woods nearby, the Tucks. Old man Tuck, played by William Hurt, is a wise and gentle man with infinite patience, who still understands the turmoils of the young heart. This performance absolutely steals the film, though the teen romance has its place in the story as well.Ben Kingsley as a yellow-suited bad guy is a lot of fun to watch.
