True Romance Audience Reviews

TrueJoshNight Truly Dreadful Film
Majorthebys Charming and brutal
Seraherrera The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity
Staci Frederick Blistering performances.
jc-999-591106 Two leads are amazing as is the supporting cast. The story really moves along and is very sexy and violent. I will probably watch this one again in a few years. Patricia Arquette was a revelation . I especially enjoyed the scene with Gandolfini and Arquette. All good.
dallasryan This is one of those crazy sort of movies on a high octane level in between destruction and true love that you just absolutely fall in love with. Every character has something to bring to the table in True Romance. Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette's chemistry is out of this world and you fall in love with them the very minute you meet them. Stand out performances from Gary Oldman, Bronson Pinchot, and Brad Pitt. Not a film for everyone, but for the Wild at Heart's, who love a great Quentin Tarantino script meshed with fantastic Tony Scott direction, and outstanding performances from top to bottom, you will fall in love with this crazy, special film!
steveo122 The direction; the script; the score; the performances. It was good and it was fun. Then, it felt like throw-away good and fun. Now, it's a wealthy repository of some of the best performances in what are now iconic movie scenes. The Scott/Tarantino blend was what you would call fortuitous, for everybody.
Akhil Balachandran Clarence, a loner fall in love with a call girl named Alabama. Later, they get married and Alabama told Clarence about her pimp. Next day, Clarence decides to meet Alabama's pimp and What happens in that meeting makes the movie interesting. It's a love story that told in a different way. The movie was written by Quentin Tarantino and his partnership with the director, Tony Scott actually works out. The story by Tarantino was fascinating and Scott makes it a fast paced movie with witty dialogues and sometimes bullets tells the rest. Overall, it's a romantic thriller that actually works as a crime thriller movie.
