SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?

good film but with many flaws

It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

This movie was horrible. I should know, since I've sat through it multiple times. There really is no strong plot to speak of. It's pretty much just soft core porn. The ONLY reason I can see for watching this movie at all is Gary Dourdan. That man looks so right, he should be wrong. Damn fine. If you like Warrick, from CSI:Crime Scene Investigations, then rent this movie or catch it on late night cable, cause, Damn. That is all.

I rented this movie with several friends without any expectations. This movie wasn't worth the price of a rental. The acting, writing, directing and cinematography were all bad. With the exception of Gretchen Palmer, the rest of the cast was so bad you would think they weren't professionals. Wait! Kenya Moore is not a professional actor. Well, that explains it. I've seen many Black-made independent films that were of much higher quality and touched on subjects that we often ignore so this film has no excuse. Please don't waste your time with this movie.

Trois is a sexy thriller about the before and after-math of a threesome (two girls and a guy). The participants are a young Black married couple in Atlanta who seek to spice up their love life and an openly bisexual woman who wants to keep custody of her son. This film admirably attempts to explore the complex dynamics of monogamous sexuality, from sexual preference to sexual power. The gravest downfall is the attempt to combine too many twists and turns that don't pay off or gel well with the story's initial tone.

The film was tastefully shot, well written, directed and acted. I'm assuming that Rain Forest Productions elected to distribute it themselves for business reasons and not for the lack of wider distribution opportunities. If a film of this quality was not offered major distribution, then independent producers are in big trouble! For this quality on a $200K budget, there must have been major deferrals and freebies! Keep up the good work.
