I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

On the face of this film, it starts out looking like a UK version of Deliverance (sans the banjo duel). About halfway through the film it develops into something quite different. Some of the bad reviews here have commented that this was a poor Boxing film. It does have ONE boxing scene, but that doesn't make it a boxing film. Another reviewer made a similar comment about motorcycles—look people, just because there's an element of something in a film doesn't mean that film is about that one thing for which you seem to be looking. Honestly I think those critics should stick to their day job because obviously they don't know the first thing about film. This is not a big budget production, but I think the final product is on par with most of what's coming out of Hollywood these days—no worse and no better. It won't win any awards for cinematography, but neither does it abuse the camera in trying to tell the story as do so many low budget films. There was a bit more gore than suits my taste, more than I thought the story needed, but still it was a decent watch. If you are looking for a boxing film, or a motorcycle film, or Deliverance UK style, you will be disappointed. If you go into it without those expectations, you might actually enjoy it.

Basically this film is about a group of guys go on an adventure weekend in the country side with no phones just there bikes and a tent, you do the guessing. There isn't really much of a story to this film, The dialog goes as far as a few swear words and a half arsed convocation, normally stating the obvious. The characters don't even look as if they even no each other at all and the editing and filming is really sloppy, it looks as if someone has put the film together in about half an hour using footage someone has filmed off there phone, mostly mixing random slow mo running scenes with the 2 other characters in the caravan having a good old chat, it looks like 2 different films. But I thought I will carry on and give it a chance and actually I am glad I did because although it didn't get much better the ending is quite good and it did make half of the film make a lot more sense. Some people have compared this film to other great British films such as This is England and Eden lake but I can azure you this is know where near as good as them!!Over all the film was pretty crappy the only good parts was the fight scene and the ending I just wish that someone with half an idea would have made this film into something great but unfortunately no one did and this is the out come. Remember just because the trailer looks good doesn't mean the film is any good! Thanks for reading!

I really wanted this to be great. Loved the idea when I heard about it, setting up the Travellers as the villains (as expected) and then telling a different story. If only it had been told better. There are still some great bits. The Traveller characters presence is powerful with Dean Jagger and Celia Muir both strong in their roles. The fight scene almost feels real and there are some genuine thrills and spills. Disappointing was the production value - sure, not everyone has the big Hollywood bucks but I wish just a little more had been spent on this film. The script wavers and so do some of the performances, a lot of friends doing favours in this as opposed to 'actors' I suspect. I think some of the films messages about who is real bad-guy, and prejudices toward others are at times overstated and at others maybe understated, its a scrappy story. but the message is there. The film plays off its stereotypes for the most part quiet well with the most stereotypical character being the psycho 'hoodie' city-boy, nutcase Andy Baxtor who you just love to hate! The low HMV price tag on this is welcome but also denotes a certain instant lack of money spent on the film. These guys were almost certainly film students and it shows but worth a gander if you like a bit of splat and tw*t action. Please someone make an Irish Traveller Boxing flick with some money behind it!

For the first 15 or 20 minutes this looked every inch a no budget, student project. If you were watching it on DVD or TV you might even give up on it. Don't.The film improves dramatically as it goes on.It adds tension, better characterisation and a reasonable slice of horror too. There is a cracking bare knuckle fight scene, something that no film about travellers would seem to be without. The performances are mixed, but certainly most of the characters are believable, hinting at a depth beyond their on screen actions. On the balance a film worth watching. Give it a go, but stick with it!
