Chainsaw Sally star Suzi Lorraine plays a recently released psychiatric hospital patient who heads for an isolated river cottage in order to re-adjust to the outside world, only to be stalked by a psychotic clown with a sick sense of humor. All Laura Wiggington wanted was to be normal again, but after years of living with some of the craziest mental patients ever committed that's a pretty tall order. Thankfully Laura's husband Ray (Tom Stedham) knows just what the doctor ordered - a peaceful getaway far removed from the stress and chaos of the big city. But now Dissecto the clown has arrived at Ray and Laura's cottage in order to perform some seriously sick party tricks, and Laura can't help but wondering if he is in fact for real, or a disturbing delusion conjured by her scarred psyche

Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Janis One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
CorblimeyGuvnors Suzie Lorraine plays Lauren and Tom Stedham plays Ray a couple that have rented a holiday house in the country. Lauren has had a breakdown and Sam appears to be an alcoholic. They are trying to rebuild their marriage after a bit of a rocky time. It is not long before Lauren starts to see a clown lurking in the garden or at the window, but of course no one believes a mad woman would they? This film is directed by Steve Sessions. Four years before this he made Dead clowns, so maybe clowns is a personal fear for him. I have not seen that film so cannot comment as to how this compares. If you have a fear of clowns then I would not worry as the clown here is not that scary. I found this film to be quite a struggle to sit through as nothing really happens and when it does it is not that interesting. The concept could have been quite scary (clown captures people and tortures them) but when people are tortured and all they can do is let out a gentle moan or have a hand cut off and not make a single sound, then this lacks some credibility. At the end of the movie it states that this was shot in six days, which, when you think of it, could it have been any better?
v_stojcevski Wow...OK. So, after reading the little feud on here, I decided I had to see this movie for myself. This movie is HORRIBLE. I stopped watching it. I strongly recommend cleaning a closet instead of watching this movie, you'll be more spooked/entertained.It's low budget with bad acting.Whoever is giving this "movie" (because this is totally garbage) 10s is completely incorrect and should be disregarded.I am in no way connected to any of the other reviewers.Simply put, this garbage is not worth watching.Very, very, very, very BAD "MOVIE".
rickycoleman This has got to be the worst film I have ever seen. The acting is very wooden (even if the lead lady looks like Ali Larter) The script is very very thin. I cant believe how bad this film actually is. The only good bit in the film is where the killer rips out the tongue of a Mormon. There are even moments in the film where the lead actor looks into the camera as if looking for inspiration. It must of been very cheap to make with only 3 of the actors (out of 7) actually speaking. I wish I had known how bad it was would of saved over an hour of my life by not watching it. I have seen enough films in my life and cannot believe int his day and age, and with such great writers out there that they still release trash like this.
J C I knew it was going to be good! Even before watching it. I highly recommend this movie if you like b-movies with a bite to it. The director does intelligent low budget films. He orchestrated a highly atmospheric and offbeat horror film. The whole cast is just fine. Suzi Lorraine is simply beautiful and good actress. Ted Alderman delivers a nice performance in a very good scene in this film. Grisly deaths --especially the tongue (look for it!)--, and spooky atmosphere. There's nobody to hear you scream here except your killer--and this one is a crazy demented serial killer with a clown costume. --Now. I want to see Steve Sessions doing a more complex movie, something like Deep Red. A puzzle movie. He sure can do it!
