The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan Audience Reviews

Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
ChicRawIdol A brilliant film that helped define a genre
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Keeley Coleman The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
Kenny Peters (kpetersmail) I previously wrote a review of this movie several years ago, and just looked through the additional ones, with the most recent being 2009, I believe. I wanted to let everyone know that this film IS now available on DVD from MGM; in fact they print it on demand when ordered. It is well worth having in your collection in such a pristine way.Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Worlds-Jennie-Limited-Edition- Collection/dp/B003B3O5K4/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC? ie=UTF8&colid=3DI8X1ES4OHLR&coliid=IG3YNOGXJ4TKCGreat film, highly recommended. If the link does not work, you can go to Lindsay Wagner's page (www.lindsaywagner.com) and to go the movies/TV section, and there is a link there for the Amazon.com purchase.
LUEXANA I have been trying to remember the title of this movie and who was in it. I haven't seen it since about 1980 or so. I saw this film when I was a child of about 10 or 11 years of age and I loved it. Of course it was great seeing "the bionic woman (Lindsay Wagner)and "sue ellen ewing" (Linda Gray) on screen in period costumes. That's who they were back then. I have always been fascinated by history, costumes and time travel. I mean really, what if these things were really possible? Anyway this film is a sweet and moving love story with a bit of science fiction thrown in. I highly recommend it. Thanks to this site I can now seek it out for purchase.
capecod-2 If you are interested in reincarnation and movement across time, this movie is for you. Basically a woman and man bought a beautiful old Victorian Mansion. The woman was scrounging around the attic and came across a beautiful old dress from the era. She tried it on, and was transported into another time, same place. Her struggles between living in the here and now, and what is the past is mesmerizing. That's all I'm going to write, because if I write any more, it will be a a spoiler.. You need to find out for yourself. It'a amazing... Enjoy. I hope you found this as interesting as I did. please post your review. I would love you hear your take on this. I don't think I'm the only one out there that is fascinated by this subject.
dg6745 I was a young woman the first time I saw this film. It was so well written & the actors just fit the parts. I agree with all the comments about this film being a timeless piece, that can be enjoyed even years later. I too taped it & watched it over & over. I lost the tape in a move across country & would love to see it again. It was based on a book (can't remember the name of that either) I was able to get a copy of that, but as luck would have it, I let a friend read it & never saw it again! Can anyone help with a book title or the name of the company that made the film for TV? I am sure that there is a way to find a move channel like classic movies or someone to air this film. It has to be somewhere in the dusty back-room of a studio. Is there anyone out there who can help all of us people that would love to see this great timeless movie again. Please let me/us know. thanks
