The Truth Hurts: The Making of Nothing But the Truth Audience Reviews

Rijndri Load of rubbish!!
Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
zimbo_the_donkey_boy A half hour of the makers and the actors of Nothing But the Truth talking about the thinking behind the film. Tends not to be all too deep. With all the talking they do about the First Amendment to the U. S. Constitution, they don't actually explain it or discuss it any more than is done in Nothing But the Truth itself. Lots of people complimenting Rod Lurie for his writing and his directing but not much more illuminating than that. The Director of Photography is brought up but, if you don't already know what Directors of Photography do, this short isn't gonna explain that for you. This is not simply a longer-than-usual trailer for the film but I can't say that it's any deeper than the typical film promo. You don't get to hear people talk in film trailers about how much they admire Alan Alda's acting and how David Schwimmer can actually pull off a dramatic role and see Director Lurie bouncing on a trampoline with one of his kid actors to relate to him but this isn't worth the price of a movie ticket. But then it doesn't cost anything to watch it, does it? It comes with the DVD. If this sounds interesting, then knock yourself out. However many of the more interesting points of this short were covered by Lurie in his commentary to Nothing But the Truth itself. And the major matter of the effect of unions, through the writers strike, on this film wasn't mentioned at all in The Truth Hurts, while it is explained nicely in the film's commentary track.
