The Pink Quarterback Audience Reviews

Organnall Too much about the plot just didn't add up, the writing was bad, some of the scenes were cringey and awkward,
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Asad Almond A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
OllieSuave-007 The Pink Panther finds a quarter on the street and decides to spend it on a quick lunch. He is torn between the hot dog and the burger, so he decides to flip a coin to help make his decision. However, the coin rolls away and the panther went on one of his longest journeys to retrieve it.From going through buildings to up and down the stairs, and from going inside elevators to going through constructions sites, that quarter does get around and it sends the panther on a hilarious wild chase. The ending was just perfect, and the panther does get a taste of lunch after all! Grade A
TheLittleSongbird The set-up for The Pink Quarterback is somewhat routine and the middle does drag a little. The Pink Quarterback however still has a lot of entertainment to be had. There are some good gags throughout like with the quarter and the shoe, but the best part is indeed the ending which is inspired brilliance and funny isn't enough to describe it, it's hilarious more like. The animation is nice and simple, and looks pretty and elegant. The theme tune is a timeless classic, and the music in the cartoon is catchy, appropriately orchestrated(have always loved the jazziness of it) and action-enhancing. Pinky is still a cool and likable character with the comedy coming naturally to him. All in all, not one of the classics but very good and towards the better end of the spectrum in correlation to Pinky's cartoons. 8/10 Bethany Cox
ccthemovieman-1 The title makes you think this is a football story, but not so. It's the Pink Panther trying to get his quarter (25 cent-piece) back! Clever, eh? Maybe.Anyway, the cartoon is clever and excellent, a wild trip through the city streets of the big city. It all starts when the PP finds a quarter on the street. He's going to celebrate by buying himself a hot dog. However, on the other side of the street comes the aroma of a sizzling hamburger. That, too, only costs a quarter (is that all they cost in the late '60s?). Unable to decide, our boy flips a coin - that quarter - and if starts rolling everywhere with the Panther in hot pursuit. When I say "everywhere" I mean down lots of streets, subways, through apartment buildings, subways, you name it. Also, the people has has to battle for this quarter as he tries to capture it are wacky and very funny. This is excellent entertainment and one of the better Pink Panther shorts.
rbverhoef 'The Pink Quarterback' is a nice and sometimes funny short starring the Pink Panther. He finds a quarter and with that money he can buy a hot dog or a hamburger. He can't make up his mind and before he has bought something he loses the quarter. Basically we see the panther chasing the quarter the entire time.Sometimes it is pretty funny, sometimes it is very predictable. The simple animation does work a couple of times here, especially in a sequence that involves trains. Although most of the Pink Panther shorts are pretty much the same this one feels a little different, probably because of the very funny ending.
