The Orphan Killer is a tour de force murder flick that defies classification. It goes far beyond current trends in gore and breaks open a new suffering genre of horror. Marcus Miller is a serial murderer hellbent on teaching his estranged sister Audrey what it means to have family loyalty. His lessons are taught in massive doses of vulgar and unimaginable pain. Throughout her brutal torture we learn that Marcus is not the only Miller with Killer in the bloodline as Audrey proves to be a formidable adversary.

The Orphan Killer Audience Reviews

HeadlinesExotic Boring
ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
Mabel Munoz Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
Paul Magne Haakonsen When I found "The Orphan Killer" I had never heard about it, nor did I know anyone on the cast list. With those two facts, I do like the odds of it becoming something of a surprise, so of course I gave it a watch. And the fact that it being a horror movie just adds to the interest, of course.I managed to watch 30 minutes of this boring movie, and it failed to captivate me or keep my interest in every aspect. Nothing of any value or worth happened to win me over. There were a couple of interesting effects, but nothing that could turn the tide of the losing interest. The movie was riddled with mundane and boring characters, whom lacked depth and dimensions. That sort of thing is something that quickly drains away the will and desire to keep watching a movie for me.I have no intentions of returning to watch the rest of the ordeal that is known as "The Orphan Killer". So a friendly word of advice, stay well clear of this one.
zts1995 I usually don't write reviews for any movies, but i feel the need for this to be done. After reading reviews and seeing people giving this movie such a low rating, i decided to watch it. being a big fan of movies like this, after completing watching this, I was blown away. I'm not sure how anybody could come on here and give this movie anything below an 8/10. The plot was excellent, very well written script. The Cinematography was beautiful, all of the shots looked great. the Acting was very good for a film of this nature, and the effects were awesome, this is a perfect example of a great, bloody, gory slasher flick with a very original Killer. I was not expecting a movie this great before i watched it. I really hope Matt Fansworth writes another movie because after seeing this, i know anything he makes will be as bad ass as this was.
verschrankung666 Matt Farnsworth is a hack. I haven't got a clue who finances his movies but my guess he has entered into a Faustian pact with Satan. Nobody in their right mind would give this guy money to make a film. If you think I'm being harsh then go check out "The Orphan Killer" then come back and tell me I'm wrong. It is incompetently written with a poorly defined story and no characterisation so ultimately we don't care about anything or anyone we see on the screen. Most of the ideas have been cribbed from far superior genre movies and the camera work is shambolic. We've all seen "Shaky-cam" is the "Bourne" movies, Farnsworth appears to have invented "unintentional shaky-cam" for the "Orphan Killer." It looks like it was filmed by someone on a home video-cam after they'd drunk 50 cups of espresso.I wouldn't have bothered commenting only there is nothing worse than a film maker who goes out of their way to pull the wool over their potential audience's eyes. This is what Farnsworth has done here. This IMDb page is littered with fake reviews and fake comments appertaining to what a great movie this is and most of them have been written by Farnsworth and his cronies. If you listen to this con-man then "The Orphan Killer" is the next "Halloween" or "Friday The Thirteenth" when in truth it's the next DVD straight to the bargain-bin @ $1.99 in Walmart.
panhead-949-639796 I found the story line very interesting. In this day of making horror movies it is hard to find a plot that hasn't been used time and time again but The Orphan Killer found their own story line and they show you how the killer came to be the person he is. For a movie that did not come from a big budget film company i thought the producers did a good job making the movie. The plot is not way out there with phantom killers that can't be stopped or monsters from our closets its a story line that could really happen and to me that makes the characters more interesting to watch.I'm sure if this film can get out to the public more and with some major film company's backing this could turn into a new horror franchise.
