Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity

Anyone who says this is bad doesn't know their movies,as someone with European descent I see the greatness of this movie! As with the movie toys it has a childlike feel, and Dana carvey is pretty funny! It reminds me of my childhood,as I saw this as a kid and laughed! Check this movie out!

Good god. What was Dana Carvey thinking? This film is truly terrible in almost every way. It makes you cringe so hard that one would be embarrassed for even thinking this film was any good. The jokes that they try to tell in this movie just aren't funny and fall flat on their faces. The story is awful too. It's a long, yet tedious plot that could have easily been displayed in like 10 minutes instead of this hour and a half like this film. And the reason why is because of all the times they try to be funny to increase play time. It's painful how badly the characters try to make this film funny and fail miserably. Not one time in this movie did I smile a little. The only time is when it finally ended. I can't recommend this to anyone. In fact, I think I recommend it more if you just stay away from this film altogether. Because all this movie is is a cringe-inducing, painfully unfunny freak show that would only impress the most forgiving viewers. While the rest see this film the way it is. Awful.

An Italian waiter (Dana Carvey) fights off a criminal mastermind (Brent Spiner) with his inherited powers of disguise.First of all, this film features an awful George W. Bush disguise. Sure, Carvey did a good job on senior, but apparently not junior? Was it that hard to get makeup that could pull this off? I entered this film expecting something awful. The reviews are bad, the IMDb rating is very low, and it just has a poor reputation. For a while, I could not understand it, as it was rather humorous at times. And Brent Spiner... we need more films with him. Yet, as it went on, it got worse and worse...Maybe this is a movie like "Freddy Got Fingered" that requires multiple viewings to really get the surreal, abstract humor. But I do not think so. More likely, it just did not have a good script, and it is understandable that Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler would pass on it.

This movie is terrible. The only semi-funny bits are juvenile fart jokes (which they repeat throughout the movie as a running gag). I've seen serious drama that was funnier than this movie. Even Greek tragedy is funnier than this movie. Basically, this movie is supposed to be funny, but instead it's cringe worthy. The raison d'être of this movie is that Dana Carvey is good at impersonating people, so that's what he does throughout the movie - but it just isn't funny at all. Yes, there is a really stupid throwaway story about a lineage of "masters of disguise", but that's just a setup for Dana's impersonations. And they're not funny. He does an impersonation of Scarface which people seem to like, but even that one is overacted - which is kind of impressive when you consider how Al Pacino did chew the scenery in the original movie. Dana Carvey just CANNOT ACT, and he doesn't even try. He can make stupid "mime" style faces, that's all. I cannot imagine who their target audience was? This is way too juvenile for the Wayne's World crowd, but this wasn't presented as a children's movie, but rather a Dana Carvey vehicle? The producers of this must be blamed. What were they thinking?Avoid this movie at all cost - you have been warned!
