Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Petar Mirkovic A true masterpiece of Serbian cinema explaining to the core a 600 year old feud between Serbian Muslims and Serbian Orthodox Christians, and also a great story written by Vuk Draskovic that doesn't fail to entertain anyone and leaves no one without a comment and strong reaction. The story is true, realistic, painful, historically accurate and backed by strong historical facts.Zarko Lausevic provided a extraordinary performance. Vojin Cetkovic, Petar Bozovic, Bojana Maljevic also provided quality performances. Miroslav Lekic proves once again he is a director that deserves respect.I recommend this movie to everyone.
plemenit2008 The story in this film really depicts the main reason and cause of the breakup of the former Yugoslavia. The movie may have it's roots in depicting historic issues between ethnic and religious conflict as "one sided" but it also has historic basis and fact that can be researched and validated. To call it Serbian propaganda is utter rubbish and based on little fact other than media bias that is used by the previous reviewer to his own end. The author of the book (Vuk Draskovic) made a valiant attempt to deal with a very sensitive subject that deals with hatred perpetuated for past wrongs that have never been fully exposed or repatriated. The film tries to keep in tune to the book and its true focus and theme - hidden historic wrongs only come back as retaliations and future food for hatred and mistrust.
Sloboleon Jednoparta One of the most powerful films ever made. The story is very true, realistic, convincing, complex and painful. There is very little things to say about it. This is one of the movies after which you can't stop thinking about the story for a very long time.Along with another masterpieces "Pretty Village, Pretty Flame", "The Trap", "The Wounds", "Hadersfild".....Hopefully everyone will have the chance to see "NOZ",because its not just a film, its a HISTORY of a nation.I recommend it to anyone who likes a good film. But don't expect anything in "American" style on this one.
Jovana This movie left me breathless. I will never forget this movie as long as i live. Actors were brilliant. I dont have words to describe it. Dont watch it unless you dont know Yugoslavian history or else you wont be able to understand this movie. There is truth behind it that needs to be discovered.
