ChanBot i must have seen a different film!!

Mischa Redfern I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

Hayleigh Joseph This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

Kamila Bell This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

jonieminguillan-12678 I have a great collection of movies which does not include this. You don't watch this for entertainment purpose. Lethargic is what this is! Nothing is exciting here. The acting, except that of Vivica Fox is way down par. The fight scenes are contrived and practically lacks the crispness and snap of action that is seen in Universal Soldier and Hard Target. Such waste!

daworldismine the hard corps is a van damme movie in which he plays an ex soldier who is asked to protect a champion boxer from gangsters. so sure the story doesn't sound that good, but it's a solid movie, that is pullled by van damme's good performance, showing that 'in hell' and 'wake of death' wasn't flukes. and the action is top notch, i just wish there was more of it. never the less this is a solid action flick that delivers the goods, compare this to any of seagal's movies from 2006 and you'll think this is a masterpiece, and fair play to van damme for always making an effort to produce the best films possible from the tools he has. the hard corps is a great action flick thats sure to please fans of van damme

disdressed12 this is one of the better Jean Claude Van Damme movies i have seen in a long while.the story is actually pretty good.the acting is decent.the characters have some depth to them.Van Damme actually misplays some emotional range.this isn't your typical Van Damme action flick.Vivica A. Fox add some class(not to mention beauty and talent)to the proceedings.and the supporting players are all also very good here.after having just watched Derailed(another Van Damme Movie)which stunk to high heaven,i was pleasantly surprised at how good it really is.this is one movie i would definitely recommend watching.like me,i'm betting you just might be pleasantly surprised.for me,The Hard Corps is an 8/10

Dalazen_Junior if you grew up in the eighties and nineties watching van damme and steven seagal's action films, you'll like this. it isn't Miami vice or heat(big budget, pretentious plot, etc) but it is a simple-minded action movie with plenty to offer regarding entertainment and a fair and square good old time.people tend to judge a film before watching it and the hard corps got bashed. van damme and steven seagal, old movie stars that ruled the box office a decade ago, were forgotten by the big studios. today is the era of jason stathan, tony jaa and the likes, all of them well-rounded by cgi special effects and big budgets, but, back then in the era of seagal and van damme, cgi wasn't around and what you saw was the real thing. god, I miss these guys' movies (van damme and seagal) in the theaters.things used to be more fun. it was a joy to watch out for justice, marked for death, bloodsport (every kid back then had to put the name on a huge list on the video store just to rent the tape). films like the hard corps bring the old times back and you'll have a good time watching it. it's about a washed up veteran who fought in Iraqi. he comes back a different, bitter man. as fate would have it, he has a second chance in life as a bodyguard to a tough but good hearted former heavyweight champion. great action sequences, van damme does his own stunts and also has some great fighting scenes, and a straight forward plot that won't change the world of movies, but will give you one helluva good time.
