SparkMore n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

stevenhenry_69 I was hooked on Jamin and Kiowa Winans' work after watching INK which remains my absolute favorite movie...period! The Frame is close though...so many sureal moments shared with INK...intelligent,thought provoking,moving, stunning visuals and solid acting by a talented cast. I find myself sometimes wondering what Jamin and Kiowa would achieve with a large studio budget...but it would be remarkable indeed if they were to exceed what are works of excellence on the low budgets they had. These movies and their short films in my opinion firmly place these extraordinarily talented filmmakers at the absolute top of their profession. I have seen NO other films that come within a country mile of these folks work..My admiration for what they have achieved is total. I bought the download of this as soon as it was available from their website years ago but due to working abroad I had forgotten about it on my home computer. Tonight i found it, watched it and was spellbound. Just sublime. I look forward to more by these amazing filmmakers. There are many 'Hollywood' directors out there that could learn a lot by watching Jamins' direction..

blumdeluxe "The frame" tells the story of two strangers who, out of a sudden, notice that they are able to communicate through their television with each other and soon start to realize that the world they live in could be only a version of reality with them as the stars of their own respective tv shows.The movie is very intellectual, sometimes in a good, sometimes in a very posh kind of way. I like the stories of the two characters that are both well acted and in a way I also like the mystery element surrounding their contact. However, as time goes by, rather than providing some plausibility, the film turns more and more artsy and ends with something that looks a bit like a forcedly sophisticated version of Austrian film "Die Mauer". It reflects on the role of the author towards his work but isn't always stringent in its conclusions.All in all this film shows a lot of potential and convinces through a good cast and the skill to make its audience curious. Unfortunately, it tries a bit too hard to be intellectual and misses to build up a plausible plot on the way.

Earl Martin I ran across this on Amazon. It grabbed me pretty early into the movie and kept me drawn in. It is very well thought out, artistic, and moving. Thank you for doing what you love and I feel you love this story and wanted to see it come to completion. Well, you did it! Now the world get's to enjoy it. Keep up the great work!

Patrick Freeman I was not expecting much.. just came across this by chance, and a couple hours later my body and mind are still trembling with the power and depth of this trip through the surreal. emotional, and visually stimulating, complete fantasy yet somehow touches a very real sense of ones being, and longing for redemption.. fulfillment..a search for completeness.watching, feeling this movie was a profound experience for me, but I will not be surprised that it is not for everyone, or even anyone not prepared..open and patient, for it's magic to take you out of this world.
