The Echo Game Audience Reviews

Sexylocher Masterful Movie
Twilightfa Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Hayleigh Joseph This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.
ghamiltonsq The movie's production value reflected its low budget ($40,000 according to IMDb). There was little camera movement and most of the staging was indoors and in fairly close quarters. But hat's off to the cast who did a wonderful job holding the audience's attention despite the fact that the story violated the most fundamental rule of movie making. Never mix planes of reality. This specific tale moved from the mysterious to the supernatural, and thereby lost all credibility. Yet the cast remained earnest and believable through it all, and held my attention, even through the silly climax. With a bit more money to work with, Brian Feeney will no doubt deliver a better production. As for the cast, totally professional. If they haven't already established themselves as go-to performers, I have no doubt they eventually will.
jcastane3 This movie's totally worth watching if you like thriller/horror/supernatural kinds of movies. Great production values, love the cinematography, and the hospital scenes are some of my favorite. For some reason I love horror scenes that take place in a hospital. Maybe I just find hospitals freaky anyway. You can tell this movie had a lot of love put into it. It looks like the director and his crew really had a love of 80's horror thrillers. I mean, what's not to love, right? The FX and gore really looks great, too, if you like that kind of thing. Totally a good rental movie for eating popcorn and watching late at night.
Nixonbrian42 Well, if this is the case, then hopefully this one review will spark some interest in people and compel them to see it. It most certainly deserves notice and praise.Even though it isn't to original it does have its share of notable high points and delivers an array of quality that sets itself considerably higher than your average thin budget indie films. This one will surprise you with a terrific cast, marvelous acting, an engaging storyline even a wonderfully orchestrated musical score. From what I understand, this is the product of a first time director who also co-wrote the screenplay; Brian Feeney. Having what seems to be an extensive background in editing also lends greater skill to this very well done piece of work. The story seems to dwell more in the psychological thriller genre than say horror or ghost story involving, without giving anything away, a little girl (played beautifully by Melissa Lee) who possesses powerful psychic abilities channeled down from her real mother who was thought to have been dead for years. Both of her parents, Alisha Seaton and Jeannie Bolet (also superb) scramble to keep their daughter safe from a certain wicked woman who originated "The Echo Project" with the intent on using gifted people for evil doings. There is a couple of nude scenes which doesn't really fit in with the pace and sharpness of the story but they don't decrease the momentum. As a whole the film is a small treasure.Take note.
