Billy then immediately enlists and is sent to France; Peggy joins the Red Cross to be with him, and Grace Laidlaw, Billy's wife, also goes to France, working with the Y. M. C. A. The Crowded Hour Audience Reviews

Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
TaryBiggBall It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
Tymon Sutton The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.
Beulah Bram A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
