Really good Saturday night flick. THIS is how you spend $30 m dollars. The film looked brilliant. Adam sandlers jack and Jill cost $80 million ?? There needs to be an investigation. I recommend this film highly. Good fun.

The Cabin in the Woods is an horror movie created by Drew Goddard; starring as one of the main characters Chris Hemsworth, its a really good film that really runs of the cliches.
The story its about five friends going to an isolated hut in a mountain, there they find an old book and then some supernatural things begin to happen to them, but in the progress of the film the friends discover that there are more things happening than they have thought.
The concept of the story seems really cliche in the beginning of the film, but throughout the movie you notice that there are lot of critics about the own horror movies, and in the final of the movie there is a plot twist that changes all the ideias that you have constructed about the film.
The Cabin in the Woods ts a really good film, and everybody who is tired about all the horror movies being mostly the same, should watch it.

To be honest, the first time I didn't get why anyone would love this movie. It was fun to watch and sometime in the middle I got what it was about. (didn't know anything beforehand, that's how I like to watch movies)
I really like Joss Whedon's style and this movie screamed of it. That is why I kinda liked it the first time.After a year or so I tought why not give it a second go? As I remember it was kinda fun...
And than the magic happened! Everything fell into place. Now that I know what was going on from the first minute this movie just got so much better I can't describe. I LOVED every minute of it. It was a whole new experience.This is a movie you HAVE to watch at least 2 times to fully enjoy it. So on the first go I gave it a 6/10, now it's a 10/10... So I'm gonna average it at 9/10 :)

It is supposed to be a parody but it is not funny. It is supposed to be a horror and it is not scary. It is supposed to be a fantasy.. well i guess that is the only part they got right. It looks more like a copy cat than a parody. Many effects are cheesy. Acting is not the worst but it's close. It is a complete disaster.
