Svengali's Cat Audience Reviews

Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Tayloriona Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
boblipton A cat in a gypsy outfit has hypnotized a lady mouse, dressed her in a blonde wig and set her out to sing "Sweet Alice". Crowds of mice gather, and are taken by the cat's cohort. This dubious botheration can only be solved by Mighty Mouse.Director Eddie Donnelly has done what he can, including an aerial flight and sticking the lady mouse on a log about to be sawn in half, but after that, this turns into the same old same old, a prospect which bored me when I was four and has only gotten even more pointless over the last half century. There's no doubt that Paul Terry's staff was putting their all into this series; it was their most financially rewarding star, after all. However, it's the same story as always. If there ever was a series of which one might write "If you've seen one, you've seen all", this was it.
