Superman/Batman: Apocalypse Audience Reviews

TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Grimossfer Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%
Bergorks If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
Ortiz Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
George Taylor Darkseid decides he's going to use Supergirl in a nefarious scheme. A really well done adaptation from World's Finest, which re-introduces Supergirl before the new 52 changed her. Best part is Superman laying it out on Darkseid. A really well done, enjoyable movie.
Eddie Cantillo Superman/Batman: Apocalypse(2010) Starring: Summer Glau, Ed Asner, Tim Daly, Andre Braugher, Kevin Conroy, and Susan Eisenberg Written By: Tab Murphy Directed By: Lauren Montgomery Review THE END IS NEAR. I'm hoping that the second half of Justice League is a little bit like this, because it would be so cool to see Supergirl on the big screen with all the other JL members like Flash, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman. Because for those of you know me, she is my second favorite DC character right after the big kryptonian himself, Superman. Batman discovers a mysterious teen-aged girl with superhuman powers and a connection to Superman. When the girl comes to the attention of Darkseid, the evil overlord of Apokolips, events take a decidedly dangerous turn. The only complaint is that since this is the first animated movie on Supergirl that she would have been explored a little more. But other than that I like what they did with her and I liked how she was portrayed. As you know I don't talk much about these animated films, so i'm just going to end the review by saying I give this a four and a half out of five.
Finfrosk86 Of all the animated feature length superhero-movies I have seen lately, this has got the best fighting "choreography". You clearly see what is happening, the timing is good, you feel the impacts. It was just very entertaining. Very well done action. Not loving the look of Supermans and Batmans face in this one, they look a little douchy. I liked their faces in Justice League: War, better. This is just personal taste of course. But a review is personal, right..?Anyhow, the movies is really good. Good action, and not boring in the slower parts. Most of the drama works well too. I'm really impressed by these animated superhero features, they are well written, and really entertaining. And again, the real star of this movie is the action and fighting. Very good indeed!
sunny lovett (dwtaxi) This film is probably the best of all the Superman animated movies that have been released over the least few years, better even than Doomsday. The animation quality, the voice acting, the comic timing, the action scenes, the story, and especially the writing are all of the highest standard. Telling the story of Kara Zor-El's arrival on earth this film is notable for its use of realistic elements, such as language barriers to truly reinforce the realness of the story; although having Kara have powers from the start even though she crash landed at night is a tad annoying. The voice for Darkseid was a little too refined as well, but the talent of Andre Braugher makes up for this.Great action, good drama, well placed and perfectly timed comedy, great voice acting and a very good story mean this movie was wasted on only being direct to video.
