After a night out of partying and left behind by her friends, Ava wakes up and sneaks back home only to find that she's already safe in bed. But that's not Ava - it's someone who looks just like her. A time-traveling fugitive has stolen Ava's body, her identity, and her life. What's more -- she's not alone. There are others, hiding in the past, secretly living among us, plotting to alter the future. Without her body, Ava is a virtual ghost, silent and invisible to the world. And, so far as she knows, she's the only one who can stop them and put the timeline back on course.

Stasis Audience Reviews

ThiefHott Too much of everything
BroadcastChic Excellent, a Must See
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Brooklynn There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
bryankli If you're looking for a good time travel movie, this is not it. And if you're looking for Romance in the story line, This is not it. The acting is terrible, the lines are terrible. He was left in a B rated film. It's like Travelers... but not. Very loose logic, zero science sense. Too much left implied, no real action, acting, and bad music. Very limited budget effects too.
CornanTheIowan In my opinion this movie is better than it seems from the other reviews here. The SciFi (which I pronounce "Siffy") Channel has released a whole series of potboilers with a plot I describe as "last man standing". In those movies, a group of initial protagonists gets picked off one-by-one until only one person (or one good-looking young couple) remain alive at the end of the flick. And you would think that "Stasis" was going to go right down that path, but it really doesn't. Not quite. And while the overall setting is so close to at least one current streaming TV series that it's almost plagiarism, there are some unique ideas that might get your attention (unless I'm overselling this thing, of course).Personally, I like the ending "okay", but as with many "B" movies, they didn't put it over with as much punch as you might hope for (if you agree with me that some of the Star Wars movies really nail their endings, then you probably get what I mean). But again, it's clearly a step ABOVE those movies that make you say "What? It's over? Did they just stop filming or something?"
bammette-39343 The whole story doesn't make much sense. After the earth was mostly made uninhabitable because of a nuclear war, there were people that were in control and so called rebels. The rebels would like to prevent nuclear war and the people that are in control would not. (that doesn't make a lot of sense does it now) Furthermore trained people have no idea how to hold a gun, how to shoot it, how to walk through a room without making yourself a target and so on. Also, having loud discussions in the street about top-secret information doesn't quite seem right to me. There are many more problems with the movie and really I can only recommend watching it if you're doing it to laugh at all the plot-holes and other mistakes they made. The good thing is that the ridiculousness is so widespread throughout the whole movie, it won't be long till you find something new to laugh at.
ravenchromebook You know it's a bad flick when they can't even budget enough to get proper fitting uniforms for the overlord and his minion. Avoid!
