Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones Audience Reviews

UnowPriceless hyped garbage
Jenna Walter The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Brooklynn There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
tomr-28618 Attack of the clones is easily the worst Star Wars film in my opinion. The dialogue is the worst it's ever been, the CGI is bad again, and the film is so boring it's almost hard to watch at times.Alot of the focus on the film is drawn on Anakin and Padmes story which is very cringe worthy in terms of the dialogue and acting. There are some decent elements such as a couple of okay action scenes, however they do look very fake due to the outdated CGI. This is obviously similar to The Phantom Menace, which again is not excusable given the budget and time spent making this film.Overall, the movie has a couple of good scenes such as Anakin finding his mother and Count Dooku was an okay villain. The rest of the film is just a boring romance with a lot of uninteresting and poorly written characters.
cricketbat This is the weakest film in the original/prequel Star Wars series, as I see it. The story is muddled and forced, the acting is weak and the dialogue is among the worst I've ever heard ("I've been dying a little bit each day since you came back into my life. " -Amidala and "This is such a drag." -C3P0 to highlight a few). That being said, it still has an amazing arena lightsaber battle (Yoda was a little hokey) and it was interesting to see how the Stormtroopers came to be.
bushtucker Shows the love forming the secrets the lies it was really good yoda omg
priceturner While the first film was a disappointment at least it was a little fun. This film tries to be more serious in tone, but comes across as boring and dull. The first and last acts are a lot of fun and action packed, but the middle drags and feels longer than it actually is. McGregor, Jackson, Oz, Morrison, and Lee are the best performers in the film, the effects are good but feel more dated even compared to the first film. Christiansen is really disappointing as Anakin, sometimes he feels like he's doing a good job the rest, well let's just say he doesn't like sand. Portman feels like she's phoning it in but is still being professional about it. All in all the film is a lot like Episode I, it has its moments but overall underwhelming.
