It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
Tayyab Torres
Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

there are thousands of direct to video films nowadays but this one shows a bit of passion and skill. true the acting and the sets wobble a bit but its a much fun as it is silly. well directed set pieces and a explosion of mega wallop show that some effort was put into this. loads of extras on the DVD and with two very entertaining commentary tracks this is value for money. with more of a budget this team could have delivered a better quality film but before you take the mickey you should try making one yourself. the story is simple enough, a man searching for his daughter in outback comes across a man in distress and a story is told about missing people / slaughter / torture etc........enjoy !

OK I'm a lover of low budget horror, so i like these liked of films and watch them all the time. This one stands out from the crowd, it has all the low budget problems like, OK acting and a lack of money in all departments. But what stand out is that Steve Looker can direct and does it well. the story: Bill Conrad will stop at nothing to find his daughter. A year to the day Bill makes his weekly trip to the site of his daughter's disappearance to put up her poster. But on this fateful day he finds someone wandering in the road. Andy Fuller tells Bill that he has just left Jen Conrad (Bills daughter) in the forest because she was badly injured trying to get away from a crazed gang hell bound on killing them for fun. Bill forces Andy to take him back! On their travels Andy starts telling Bill about the sick game they were forced to play at a hut in the middle of the woods. Its a good little movie and you should check it out.Regards Fly66

I'm a big fan of low budget films and this film is right up my street. It does suffer from the lack of money, but if you can see through that, you've got an amazing little film. Steve Looker (Director) has an amazing flair for building tension. There was one thing that shines through, this guy can direct, as i watched the film there was all ways something in the back of my mind, what this guy could do 'if he had a bigger budget' and you never know. I just hope he gets a chance to make another film, I would deferentially pay to see it. Synopsis. Writer & director STEVE LOOKER presents SCARRED , a suspense horror film from the UK.
