Just what I expected
Bea Swanson
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Sammy-Jo Cervantes
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Lucia Ayala
It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

"Salem Rogers" is a 30-minute television short movie that may or may not have a full series following up on this pilot episode. We will see about that. The director is Mark Waters, who directed the Lindsay Lohan films "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" 10 years ago. The writer is Lindsey Stoddart. First time she came up with a script, but she is a prolific actress. And also the entire cast has some famous names, and very experienced actors in terms of television. Leslie Bibb does a decent job with the title character. Rachel Dratch unfortunately does not and she is really only annoying and not funny from start to finish. Most of the jokes have some sexual background and it's really just more try-hard than entertaining comedy. I would not watch a comedy series based on this pilot episode from winter this year unless they considerably step things up. Not recommended.

Salem Rogers is just a truly funny show. If they don't make more episodes, it'll be a crime. Let's start with the writing--Lindsey Stoddart's script is air tight and made me laugh so much that I had to watch the pilot twice to catch what I had missed. (OK so I watched it more than twice but that's because it was so good.) Casting? Leslie Bibb as Salem is a genius casting move. I buy every acerbic, disgustingly funny word she says (even if she burped it) and Rachel Dratch is incredibly funny. Cameos from Harry Hamlin and Jane Kaczmarek round it out--what more do you want? The writing is outstanding and the casting spot on. MORE SALEM ROGERS PLEASE!

Salem Rogers is an exciting new approach to the comedy world! Rock N' Roll and brutal honesty illustrates the premise of the show and how women can handle their own, be funny, strong and successful. Independence and perseverance demonstrates Salem's attitude to go for it, no matter how easy or difficult the situation is with hard core comedy attached to it. Salem's side kick Agatha is constantly searching to improve herself, and even though she despises Salem, her self esteem is elevated by Salem's determination to see her succeed, even when Salem serves a curve ball of humiliation from time to time for her own benefit. Salem Roger's is a one of a kind type of show, I cannot wait to see more for years to come!

I laughed so hard my face hurt. Look out world, Salem Rogers, the hottest celebrity supermodel of all time is back. Sure it's been ten years since her champagne-fueled, glitter-filled party bubble popped, landing her in a posh rehab-retreat. She's busted out. (okay, they kicked her out). Nothing's going to stop Salem from taking back her crown.Rules don't apply. Being normal is for ugly people. Tasers won't stop her, (for long). Best of all, for Salem Rogers, the only reality that matters is that she's here to stay.I'm looking forward to her adventures.
