Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Michael Ledo The film opens with the title, "The Texas Roadside Massacre." Five young adults travel to find April (Nicole Margulis) the missing sister of Karen (Marina Resa). They stop in the town of Blueridge, Texas where the ribs taste different and the waitress looks her lobotomized sister. When their vehicle becomes disabled, the group of five are forced to stay in town.There is no guesswork involved that these folks are cannibals with a Toj Johnson looking cook (Jason James). The chase scenes were poorly done with people appearing at random when they were clearly left behind and in another case where the girl gets away after stumbling and falling going out the door. The way Karen holds and swings an ax she would more likely hurt herself before anyone else. Poorly directed film. Characters were shallow.Parental Guide: F-bombs, sex. No nudity. Not as good as any in the "Wrong Turn" series.

ComputerGuy8181 The best word to describe this is simple, terrible. When I got it I knew full well it would be terrible but just wanted to watch it because i knew it would be laughably bad, was not wrong. Only thing that made it worse was the fact that it is actually meant to be a serious film. At least with Scary Movie 5 it's bad in a comedic sort of way. With this, when the killer strikes the stereotypical ditsy hot blonde screams in a high-pitch voice "oh my god!" over and over while the killer goes to work as if that will do anything and just stands there yelling instead of actually doing something productive. I have only seen the first 30 minutes of it at the time of writing this but just wanted to write this now instead of waiting till the end. This is my first ever film review on this website.

lil_dude6666 I do have to say one thing whatever you do don't watch this movie and don't believe the 9 reviewers who have said that this film is amazing as they are more than likely involved in the making of the movie and they have all joined IMDb the same time an only have 1 review to show. Please please please do not watch this utter crap. As for the acting my pets are better at acting than these bunch of idiots. IMDb really do need to sort things out on this site as fake reviewers and people who are involved in the making of the movie should be banned from this site all together as they lead people to believe that this movie is actually good..... Do yourselves a favour guys and girls do not watch this movie go watch a Disney film which i am sure you will enjoy more....

mb_105 I was flipping through channels late at night and this movie's opening credits were just starting... I figured "low-budget horror flick", it's going to be terrible, let's check it out. But, instead, I was hooked. It was really good. Nothing out of the box, but it took some really nice twists and was a lot of fun throughout. It was also hilarious (in a good way)... Everything the bad guys say in the movie is quote worthy. You can tell it's low budget. You can tell there's non-professional actors and everything, but it's really a great little movie. And, as a long time horror lover, I didn't even see the end coming. Check it out. 9 outta 10 for me.
