Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

This powerful, beautifully made documentary follows three strong, courageous women as they continue their social justice ministries in the face of shameful treatment by the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church. As a Catholic woman who finds herself at odds with the institutional church on a daily basis, I find hope in the wisdom of Sisters Simone, Christine, and Jean. These bright, articulate, engaging women, through their work, demonstrate how much richer the Church (or the country or the world!) would be if it focused less on its rules and more on bringing about equality for all people. This documentary is not preachy. This documentary will not try to convert you to a particular faith tradition. This documentary is not just for Catholic women. Rather, it will be of enormous interest to anyone of any faith tradition or no faith tradition who cares about social justice for all.

Although I'm not Catholic I've always been impressed with the activist nuns who selflessly serve the poor and needy. Beyond comprehension that the church would stand in their way rather than support their courage. Terrific story of the struggle of 3 very special "radical" nuns as they fight to change the hearts and minds of the church hierarchy. Follow them to the Vatican to research the historic role of women in the church as they discover a truly remarkable and hidden fact- women's position in the church has actually gone backwards. Really well done and captivating. Highly recommend even if it's a subject you never thought you cared about- Heart warming and inspirational to see these women who are truly noble in the worthiest fight of their lives.
