n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

i just saw this film made byArun Vaidyanathan before 1 week or something.and i was surprised after the climax of this film.to be honest,i think the director took my mind ^.^.actually i thought that he took me away whan i saw the film ;) i first thought that it was directed by a Hollywood director or what.then i felt a 'no' in my heart (this is made by a Mollywood film director directed it) cause Hollywood directors focus more on Technology and Mollywood films focus on nature (that is because English countries has ability to perform more technological products and and kerala is having a place which has a large amount of agriculture/nature and now i thank Arun Vaidyanathan for giving us a good time or funny time seeing this film :)

Peruchaazhi is an out and out logic-less entertainer which entertains at most parts. The crew themselves ask us to keep our mind switched off to watch this movie.Peruchaazhi is the story of Jagannathan(Mohanlal), who is a politician in Kerala. He gets an assignment to help John Kory to win in the California Governor election. Jagan and his friends(Aju & Baburaj) reach America and then they helps John to increase his ratings. Will this help John's victory? Will Jaganathan and his ideas become successful? From the plot itself, its clear that the movie is completely a logic-less one. The crew were trying for a complete festival entertainer and they became successful in that at parts. First half was good with a lot of comic numbers and all from the lead cast. But while coming to second half, the script lost its power. Post interval, movie becomes just an average flick. The main saving grace of the movie is Mohanlal's energetic performance. His comic timings and charisma makes us remember the vintage Lalettan. Supporting cast, Vijay Babu, Mukesh, Aju Varghese, Baburaj etc also did their job well. The English actor in the role of John Kory also was good and funny. Heroine Ragini Nandwani was OK, but the character was and the love track was unwanted. Here comes the positives and negatives.Positives*Mohanlal's energetic performance. *Titles(Especially for Mohanlal Fans). *Good performance from the supporting cast.Negatives*Second Half. *Climax. *Love Track.

Well, for the movie 'Peruchazhi', I am choosing the lesser of the two evils and conclude saying, "It is a below-average no-brainer type movie with a fair bit of comedy in every nook and corner of the plot" thanks to Baburaj and Aju Vargheese. The movie starts out in an enticing fashion, throwing at us the golden dialogs from the classics of the great actor Mohanlal. But nevertheless, disappointingly, the movie continues to hide behind the shadow of the great man's great performances of the past - nothing to call as being creative or a revival of the man's splendid flair to deliver 'all time best' comedies. But Of course, you get a reason to laugh every now and then for sure, as the massive Baburaj, the villain turned comedian, pulls off some hilarious dialogs with Aju Vargeese in company. And for the ardent Mohanlal fans, there might be something in the movie as well, as he is seen rolling in full style all throughout the movie. He looks stylish and fresh to be honest. And don't worry. He hasn't really made fun out of himself, in an attempt to create fun. I don't want to reveal the easily guessable plot. But I can say this much: Any American would be irked watching this movie as it makes fun out of their ass. It is like America is a no-man's-land where you can do anything you want, wherever and whenever you want to. But I call that part fair for the exotic mockery 'Hollywood' has been making out us since quite a long time. Like in Anchorman, "Smells like Indian food in diapers" WHAT THE HELL! For those who have already made up their mind to go watch the film, I really don't want to spoil the mood and expectations. So I am wrapping it up. As I have said before, it is a total no-brainer with some cheap gimmicks used and good comedy. That's all. I won't be really calling them 'comical' if I had something else to talk about on the movie. So, guys, it comes to this: Watchable – but at own risk.

Mohanlal delivers an energy packed performance with his exceptional comic timings and dialogue delivering skills. The actor once again proves his capability to perform any character without any flaws. Mukesh shines as the cunning politician and the role is absolutely a cakewalk for the actor. Vijay Babu deserves a special applause for his matured acting skills. Baburaj, Aju Varghese and Ramesh Pisharody are fine in their roles; but the over dosage of adult jokes makes their act look weird after a point. Ragini Nandwani, makes a decent debut as Jessy ; but her chemistry with Mohanlal in the romantic scenes looks odd at places. The rest of the cast did justice to their roles. Peruchazhi, is engaging at some places, shows some real flaws also. Arun Vaidyanathan succeeds in bringing out the real comic elements from the actors; but fails in molding a real political satire on screen. As a result, the movie looks artificial at places. Arvind Krishna's cinematography is outstanding. Vivek Harshan's editing makes the movie slim without any irrelevant contents. Arrora's songs are disappointing. But the background score is good and completely sinks with mood of the movie.
