I love Minions but they have become major cashgrab territory from cheaply made products to masses of mini-movies that simply aren't very good.Thankfully it's not all like that and Panic in the Mailroom is a nice surprise and fun little short. Excluding credits we're talking about 4 minutes in length and it tells the quick tale of two minions in the mailroom and the craziness that takes place when one turns into one of those frenzied purple minions we saw in one of the movies. It's madcap, it's silly and it has the charm of the features so I personally enjoyed it.Again its only 4 minutes long so blink and you'll miss it but among the shorts this is certainly one of the better ones. The Good:Feels like it's "Official"Fun stuffThe Bad:Nothing reallyThings I Learnt From This Short:I want to see a purple minions movie, is that wrong?

"Panic in the Mailroom" is an animated 4-minute short film that came out briefly after "Despicable Me" and features two Minions from start to finish. They take up the plot idea again that Minions were transformed into evil Minions in the movie. I watched the new Minions film recently and I have to say that these films got worse and worse by movie and even if I still mildly enjoyed the second film, mostly thanks to the antagonist El Macho, these short films don't do much for me. There were already 3 short films after the first film and I found them underwhelming and this one here is not better. I guess maybe the Minions just cannot carry for me. The last shot with the transforming cats was a good idea, but it cannot make up for everything boring before that. Not recommended.
