Sexylocher Masterful Movie
Stevecorp Don't listen to the negative reviews
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
davemccrea-1 Can't believe all the negative reviews on here. Anyone who gives this 1 star doesn't deserve internet access and clearly has no clue about filmmaking, storytelling, or anything else. They're probably 12 years old - this movie is not made for you, it deals with tensions and themes that you have haven't experienced yet. I'm not saying this is the best film ever made, but what we have here is: A director with a point of view, an intelligent film, an entertaining film, a film of "the times". What makes the film smart is that it explores the nuances of human behavior. All of these things put it above most films that come out in a given year. Worth seeing.
ganesheeva loll, don't listen to all the puritan homos here who hate on this film because of one line...it's a well written well flicked critic on society, people who are too "hearing sensitive", why don't u go prurit yourselves and think about what deaf people are going trough? the only thing which was bothering me is the decadent lifestyle of the human/angel/devil character (the Heroes guy) but in fact it makes for a "nobody's perfect" kind of vibe, which adds to the many meanings this movie carries.this movie is like a test for me, i'm gonna make it watch to people & decide if they're dumb morons whereas they like it or not, heck, i'd even use it to test my future fiancée ... "u don't like it ? OK, g.t.h.o we done" chihuahuahaha...the very subject of "tax attorney" is well-chosen, i mean can u believe we up 2 the point ppl are making money on ppl wanting to b paying less "taxes" ? (it's like the reverse of tax deductible donations...)Also all the ppl who talks about names, Anorofsky this, his mama that, pl fogs stfu once & for all, stop being like idolaters & watch what lies beyond, Ty.Don't forget there is some pussy & sexual tension, so even basic per-vs shod enjoy it.Too bad such godlike work forcibly targets the worst of the IMDb community (to save them) & that their reactions are those of hating bitches, but it's nothing other than mechanical.Experimented seventh art lovers are i think able to see thru, & i wish they enjoy this revealing chef d' oeuvre.Rarely has the descent into madness been so accurately & artsy depicted, this make almost all previous attempts look lavish (the only "better" i can think of come from books, those weird things ppl criticizing this movie know no sh!t about). This is no fight-club like thriller full of twists (altho...) but more of a "reality-movie" like few i'v ever seen, the kind of movie ppl will later relate to as a mean of understanding the flaws of their ancestors, like a few artifacts made it thru the times to show us what previous civilizations were like, this one is a gem that is gonna b found again & again.PS : the hero is vegan ;) ... we are accustomed to haters... simply analyze their critics & u'll see trough : "music was bad (zomg!), B,C,D movie (yay u know Ur alphabet!), this *name* actor sucked, this *name* actress was a slut,(idolaters!) all the pieces from the poster weren't used in the movie (rofl) , prescription drugs are good...(so cliché Han), don't watch it (haha OK boss, why don't u go burn som books while u'r @ it?) etc..."
pahaake Yes, this is a low budget film with little dialog. Milo Ventimiglia is an underrated but extremely talented actor and I think he made the film. If you haven't seen it yet, watch Pathology. Rhys Coiro was adequate - but as for the American Psycho reference he is no Christian Bale and this is no American Psycho. That particular film is pure brilliance, whereas this is just an interesting character study. If I am engrossed in enough in a film that I can't stop watching and get completely wrapped in the main character I consider it a good film. I did and this is, I liked the music - both the style of the music and the use in the film. I actually believe that in this movie less dialog was better, but I didn't find it completely predictable - I wasn't really sure what was going to happen at the end. I might have ended it differently or perhaps had more twists but overall I thought it was a solid film with solid acting. It's worth the 90 minutes of your time.
Seemp deHond In all fairness, it adds up to an almost mediocre B-movie. Predictable plot and storyline. Underdog meets new friend with ulterior motives and so on. The completely out of place soundtrack, over kill of random flashes, slow motion and effects kill what ever is left which wasn't much to begin with. The producer makes his 1st movie adding his own bands music which thoroughly runs this feature in the ground. In an effort to hide the empty storyline it just use all the effects available. A predictable uninteresting film without depth leaning on soap opera acting performances. A far too long pompous music video with the sole purpose of promoting the directors own band. Why did Mimi risk being seen in something this atrocious anyway? Why Mimi? Why?!
