Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Usamah Harvey The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Scotty Burke It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
martinjohnson-31275 I can't believe that a movie this terrible ends up so awful by accident. After watching this I truly have lost the will to live. The dialogue was poor in construct and even worse delivery. The plot was pointless, far fetched and disjointed and the special effects looked liked they be done by a spotty teenager in their bedroom on a cheap PC. If you have a tendency to suicideal ideation avoid this movie at all costs.
djswansonapr This movie is so incredibly horrible, it's hard to imagine the actors could have walked through the scenes and spoken their lines without throwing up their hands in disgust. (The scene with soldiers filling sandbags next to waves that are hundreds of feet high - really? Oh my.) The movie includes all the disaster flick cliches, a tragic romantic subplot, and special effects that look like they were created by 12 year olds in a middle school classroom. And plot consistency? Nonexistent. Plot holes so big you could steer the Titanic through them, sideways. Some reviewers wrote about the movie being so bad it is funny. I disagree. It's far too horrible to be the slightest bit humorous. It should be used in film schools as a case study on what not to put on the screen as intelligent entertainment.
sarah-11315 I am watching this movie right now and I had to look on here to see what kind of reviews it was getting, as I have never watched a movie this terrible in all my life. And I have watched some bad ones. The only way this movie could get any better is if everyone dies at the end. I'm not sure if I'll make it that far though.
Leofwine_draca OCEANS RISING is another dreadful disaster movie from The Asylum which is about a Biblical flood affecting mankind. The hero of the hour is a guy who builds a modern-day Noah's ark in order to survive impending disaster, and of course the powers that be don't believe him. The film is a mix of trite dialogue, clumsy plotting, bad acting, and typically terrible CGI effects; the whole thing is drawn-out, mindless, and a chore to sit through.
