Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.

I had been trying to get hold of this one ever since watching Renato Polselli's THE REINCARNATION OF ISABEL (1973) to which it has been compared in terms of sheer loopiness; in the meantime, I had actually checked out another Batzella movie i.e. the only slightly superior THE DEVIL'S WEDDING NIGHT (1973) which, unlike the film under review and the above-mentioned ISABEL, maintains a Gothic feel throughout its entirety. Apart from this fusion of past and present not to mention, leading lady Rita Calderoni the two also share the doppelganger motif and, as I said earlier, an absolute (deliberate?) disregard for logic which go a long way in rendering them effortlessly surreal (abetted by a weird score and some of the oddest camera angles ever conceived!); however, this alone does not make them worthwhile (let alone good) and, in fact, both these films are relentlessly sabotaged by inept handling and matching wooden performances I mean, one has to wonder just what went on during the production of such efforts
where, invariably, a writer-director's 'uncompromising' vision was constantly shortchanged by the individual's apparent lack of talent in putting his own ideas to fruition! In both, then, the luscious Calderoni plays two roles: here, she is a traffic-accident victim and a succubus-like temptress from a previous era; similarly, the male protagonist alternates between a strapping doctor and a decadent, slightly mad aristocrat. Other figures vaguely involved include the enigmatic owner of the film's central castle setting who is something of a wry observer and eventually Master Of Ceremonies at the climatic would-be satanic orgy, an even more ambiguous and unhinged manservant (the first time we see him he is lying on the floor with a knife stuck in his throat don't ask!) and a black maid (or something) whose only function in the proceedings is to indulge in some lesbian fondling with the modern incarnation of the heroine and, later, to be whipped within an inch of her life by said wild-eyed butler!! Though running a measly 81 minutes, the film tends to feel much longer due to its sluggish pacing actually, a characteristic 'drawback' to both Gothic and dream-like fare. As always, too, nonsensical quotes from some ancient tome prove the key to the whole mystery
which, when uttered by the hero, causes a skull to explode(!), send the members of the orgy running and surprise, surprise gets us back where it all started!! For once, and thankfully so, the title does not promise something it cannot deliver: Calderoni, in fact, is nude whether for Satan or the audience's ultimate benefit is another matter entirely! throughout most of this (beginning with the very opening sequence)
though she also suffers the ignominy of having to scream her head off, ostensibly in abject terror, during an attack by a hilariously fake arachnid (albeit inside a reasonably atmospheric spider-pit)!!

A Woman running naked in the night (slow motion). Haunting soundtrack.A car. Dark night. Suddenly, a white indistinct silhouette in the middle of the road. Dr. Benson swerves just in time and stops the car. When he looks back the road is empty - no one in sight! While he's thinking about it, crash!!..... He looks back and there's another car in the road. A woman is in it, unconscious. She's Susan (Rita Calderoni). The scene is enhanced by a brooding soundtrack.Dr. Benson looks for help in a nearby castle. In this castle, he and Susan will meet their darker selves, and will have to fight a battle with them for their.... souls, egos, whatever....This is the castle of mirrors, where the statues spin and the corridors have many doors. Each door hides a secret. It may be a dream, a hallucination, a nightmare. Day and night seem to mix together and coexist at the same time. Whippings, lesbian succubus that like to pay surprise visits, a giant spider, a strange laughing butler roaming around....Dr. Benson meets Susan's darker half, Evelyn (Rita Calderoni). Susan meets Dr. Benson's darker half, Peter. Their darker selves are planning to take over. Satan (in civilian clothes) presides over everything."Nuda per Satana" is a very sensual film. Rita Calderoni could have been a princess or a duchess in the Italian Renaissance. When she is dressed/undressed, kisses, smiles, screams, whatever she does, it looks like one of those paintings of the great Italian masters come alive. Sex, the devil, the unconscious, the dreams, desire, joy and fear.I think that "Nuda per Satana" was obviously inspired by Renato Polselli's "The reincarnation of Isabel", but it has nonetheless its own personality. Probably, a more distant source of inspiration was "Castle of Blood" made by Antonio Margheriti in 1964.In "Nuda per Satana" the visuals, the soundtrack, the dialogues... produce a dreamy, surreal ambiance. Instead of trying to follow the story, turn off your critical vibes, dive into the film and you may have something akin to an acid trip.

Even though the time since I watched this piece of cinematic history fades away I feel compelled to document my personal experience with the motion picture.Even though this film is bound by about as much storyline as the ingredients on a packet of Special K, it manages to keep the mild interest of the viewer through a string of scantily clad females, naked dancing and what could only be described as bouts of randomness. The film starts off with an old fellow heading up to a castle, and I think I pretty much lost the plot from thereafter. It may be a combination of poor scripting or the fact I was rather tired at the point of watching this... in either case, I was unable to twig to the supposed outline of 'A doctor and the Devil battle for the soul of a beautiful woman'.Another 'glueing' factor of the film is that throughout one feels compelled to keep watching in the event of anticipated intercourse. To the credit (or not) of the director, the nudity remained tasteful throughout the film.A roller-coaster ride which keeps you coming back for more.

could somebody PLEASE tell me what the plot of this film is all about?OK, I gathered from the synopsis that it was about two weary travellers who stop off at a creepy castle for help, and they get into bother. Other than that, though, the film made absolutely NO sense whatsoever.'Nude for Satan' just comes across as a rather pathetic excuse for loads of soft-porn love-in sessions. The production design itself was very reasonable (apart from the odd dodgy special effects, and wobbly bedpost)At one point, I was practically falling asleep while watching this film.A similar movie, 'Bloodsucker leads the dance' is far superior in comparison (by the way, if you've seen "Bloodsucker Leads The Dance", you'll have noticed that the very same sets used in "Nude For Satan" also appear in that film). The only thing to recommend this film is a highly atmospheric music score, otherwise, this is certainly one film I certainly wouldn't go out of my way for!!
