A cold-blooded killer gets caught up in a surreal game of death in this neo-noir thriller starring Costas Mandylor. The winter winds are whipping outside when the unremorseful assassin dispatches with his latest target. But this time something goes wrong. Time begins to fold in on itself when a shadowy assailant strikes out from the darkness, turning hunter into prey in the span of seconds. The mysterious pursuer seems to anticipate the killer's every move, and as events begin to repeat themselves nobody is who they seem. A sudden stranger to his friends and associates, the killer begins to question his sanity after fresh wounds vanish from his flesh without a trace. When an unexpected telephone call reveals that his intended target is still alive, he is forced to relive his actions time and again while speeding ever closer toward a confrontation with the one adversary who could bring about his downfall.

Nobody Audience Reviews

Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
AshUnow This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Derry Herrera Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.
Brooklynn There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
walter radunsky Fortunately, I didn't let the low ratings this film has received dissuade me from seeing it. Borrowing elements from filmmakers such as the Coen brothers, David Lynch, and David Cronenburg, the writer/director of "Nobody" managed to create his own unique and surreal neo-noir movie. The cinematography and production design is visually stunning, and the meticulously crafted script originated the kind of narrative thread that was later used in the more highly praised "Triangle." The story is not a confusing mess that randomly ends without any closure, as some have suggested; rather, it is a narrative in which the resolution (or lack of) is inextricably tied to the beginning (as was the case in the movie "Memento"). As in all noir films, the mystery is unraveled by an eventual understanding of past events; however, circumstances occurring in the story have led to these past events being revisited in an unusual way. It's unfortunate that this narrative has been the object of all its criticisms, as the narrative is precisely what makes this film so interesting and unique.
IMDBer100575 As mentioned by other commenters, this movie has a great feel to it. The atmosphere and settings are well done, possibly better than most big-budget films. The acting is exceptional, despite having an unknown cast (unknown to me, anyway). The plot starts out pretty good, with an opening scene that truly captures the audience's attention. Things get spiced up, initially, when you realize that the movie goes back and forth in chronology; however, as the timeline-skipping continues, it starts to get confusing and annoying. Then, as the movie climaxes, you're left with a "what the hell was the point?" ending.I think the writers of this movie confused themselves and decided to just end the movie. There was no point and I didn't even see anything about karma in here. It tried to teach a lesson on karma without fully understanding karma itself. It could have been so much better but it failed miserably.Still, I was entertained throughout this movie, until about the last 25% of the movie. If you have a dollar and some change, pick it up at your local Red Box. I wouldn't purchase this movie, though.
Ashley I was listing to the first commentary of the DVD. I believe the producer said something about an "Assassin's Commentary" where it would focus on what was going on in "Noe's" head. So I listened to the second commentary but it didn't sound anything like what the producer described! ...Help please? I must say the movie is rather confusing, but for me it was very interesting. I'm a huge fan of Costas Mandylor and I thought his acting and narration was awesome, and I did enjoy watching it. But once again, it could be very confusing the first time you watch it. It was a unique movie in my opinion. (And its really hard for me to write ten lines...)
osbornpaula I was first struck by the artistry of "NOBODY", at the Action on Film Festival in Long Beach, CA, earlier this year. I attended this festival because I am a student of the martial arts, and because another friend/filmmaker was screening at the same festival.I was absolutely blown out and held intrigued, till the end, by this film!! I rarely am captivated like this, and invite you fans of the thriller genre to check out this work of art. kudos to the cast for your work as Borg :) I can't say enough about how much this film impressed me.Paula
