Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

Several years ago, Frank Ippolito and Ezekiel Zabrowski made a couple amazingly clever short films that starred Teller (of Penn & Teller fame) and these post-apocalyptic films were simply amazing--and in a good way! So, when I found their latest work, "Night of the Little Dead", I knew I had to see it. While I would not put it in the same category as "& Teller" or "& Teller 2", it was a lot of fun and is worth seeing. It beings in a combination bar and bait shop out in the country. The locals are interrupted by two boorish jerks who are from the city and think they know everything about fishing (Adam Savage and Penn Jillette). However, these cocky sons a gun turn out to be in way over their heads, as moments later they come rushing back into the place. They are being chased by a monster and Jillette's character is dying. How can they possibly survive the attack of this freaky monster? This film isn't all that deep nor will it change your life...but it is fun. My only comment other than this is that it might not be for little kids, as the language is a bit rough. Worth a look.
