Monty Python and the Holy Grail Audience Reviews

NekoHomey Purely Joyful Movie!
Libramedi Intense, gripping, stylish and poignant
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Francene Odetta It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
vccortexlikespie A perfect storm of absurdity that sparked my interest and Knights and comedic D&D campaigns. Thank you Monty Python for this masterpiece.
aggelostenshimanga I remember watching this film as a kid that loved knights, and rented it because of that. But instead of a story about knights and princesses, I got one of the most amazing comedies I had ever watched. There are so many jokes from this movie that stuck with me after just one sitting, and I have watched it many times since. The unique, absurd humor of Monty Python might not be for everyone, but it instantly became a favorite for me, and I rented many more works from them after watching the Holy Grail. An epic movie, that every person must watch once in their lives, even if it is just to figure out whether they want to delve deeper in the crazy world of Monty Python. Also, on the DVD release extras, there was a song from the movie reenacted with LEGO figurines, and a 'documentary' for coconuts, make sure to look for those when you pick up the movie!
Osmosis Iron MP's humor might not be for everyone, but it certainly is for me - Absolutely hilarious from start to finish! The opening credits are already funny as hell and it only gets better!
Prichards12345 This movie is so quotable, and just so damn funny. It has stood the test of time and become a genuine classic. Is there a plot? Well the Python team, with Graham Chapman as King Arthur and his valiant (or not so valiant knights in the case of Sir Robin, who defeated the chicken of Bristol) in search of the Holy Grail. So many great sketches here. The Black Knight (You're arm's off, you silly sod!") Castle Anthrax and Castle Swamp, the gorge of Eternal Peril, the French Taunters. It's all here. Graham Chapman is a superb Arthur, trying to make sense of all the madness around him. But they all shine. They are, after all, the Python Team, some of Britain's greatest ever comedians.Come see the lovli lakes....
