Duff Daniels (John T. Woods), the younger, stupider brother of Les (Michael Shanks), can't help himself from stealing a rare snake that's been kept in a jar by a Native American snake dealer (Ben Cardinal), and which has to follow some rules: don't let it out of the jar, then don't let it eat anything anything living, and never fear the heart of the snake.

Mega Snake Audience Reviews

TrueJoshNight Truly Dreadful Film
Ava-Grace Willis Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Scotty Burke It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Brian T. Whitlock (GOWBTW) SciFi Channel makes a movie featuring the "Who Wants To Be a Superhero?" series winner "Feedback". But the movie wasn't about him, it's about a snake that grows many feet and kills it prey unlike any other reptile ever could. You got two brothers, one does the handling of very dangerous snakes. He gets fascinated with one that's so dangerous, he's got to have it. But, he ignores the warning of the seller. It was not for sale, and do not let it feed on anything living. It kills the cat, the brothers' widowed mother, the dog, and so forth. It was venomous, and other kill techniques are in it as also. The two drunk snake killers seem to have a better head on their shoulders than the local sheriff. The paramedic brother, the brainy ranger, and the snake wrangler were pretty much the heroes of this movie. As for the hero Feedback, he held his part on keeping the public safe from evil. The movie could have gotten more watchable when they show more "Feedback" and less of the monster snake. It could have been a better movie. It was too much of "SSSSS" reject. Other giant snake movies were a lot more fun than that! 2 out of 5 stars!
lastliberal The Sci-Fi Channel would not have the budget of Snakes on a Plane, so they could only afford one snake. But, it was one huge snake! I was not expecting anything fantastic when I tuned into this. I was surprised, however, that it kept my interest.I really like the part where the dude looked up and the snake just sucked him in by the head. I also liked seeing the Barney Fife deputy getting it, as well as the rednecks. It had it's Jaws moment when they mayor wouldn't shut down the county fair and the snake had a smörgåsbord of delectable goodies.Of course, having a small town deputy with a PhD in zoology was just a little far fetched, as was having the guy who was afraid of snakes saving the day and his girl, but what the heck, it was a movie. Not the greatest, but it was worth the time. No big stars, but I'll be looking for John T. Woods in Zombie Strippers out soon.
grykon I was really looking forward to seeing the Feedback movie and I can only say I pray this was not it, that this was just a teaser. I give kudos to Matthew Atherton for doing this, at least it shows he has principles as a person. The Character Les is so pathetic who would blame Erin for running to anyone else, but really, to the jerk who is the sheriff? Was it just me or did he seem to base that character on some of the characters played by Bruce Campbell? Maybe it was just the resemblance of the two actors. Most of the male actors are just plain bad, unrealistic, like they are uninterested to be making a movie (of any caliber.) Most of the male characters seem to have vision which does not extend more then about 6 inches in front them.If it hadn't of been for the fact that I really liked the Feedback character and the ability of Matthew to portray him I wouldn't have watched past the 1st break, but I really wanted to see what they would do with Feedback.*spoiler kinda* (Better safe then sorry, though you might be more sorry if you watch the show.) 1.2.3.4. The dialog was flip floppy, first Erin comes up with the theory she thinks its a snake, then her pseudo boyfriend the sheriff shows up and suddenly its the ex-boyfriend (Les's) idea. And unless the sheriff lets him out of jail more people are going to die. (Can I have some butter for the corn? Please?) I think they could have saved money on the special effects of making brains exploding out of someone's head and biting the 40 some odd heads off of the people riding the thrill rides and put it towards Feedback's special effects, I mean come on. Why couldn't they have had the 'main' characters meet up with Feedback as he was helping people escape and told him how it was suppose to be killed and let him save the day? Isn't that how things happen with superheroes? If they don't know how to defeat an enemy the first thing they do is evacuate the innocent by-standers and then meet up with the 'scientist' that tells them how they might be able to defeat the enemy.I think the writer(s) mom(s) should beat them for writing characters who have less regard for their elderly mother then a kid with a magnifying glass has for the ant on a sunny day.Really, just a plain bad movie even for Sci-fi...It gets my vote for the worst movie Sci-fi has made.
seriousgamer101123 About the movie: Megasnake is is pretty much what everyone thought it would be, a Scifi original (in other terms, huge hype about it, poor CGI, and a lame plot). But, I was impressed with some of the killing scenes and the fact the acting wasn't horrible. Why I hated it: This movie was suppose to Feedbacks(winner of WWTBASH) movie. Instead, its about a giant snake and some Native American legend. Feedback is in it, but he only has 2 lines AND doesn't get to use any of his super powers. This is the reason why I didn't give this movie a 5/10.Over all, the movie itself isn't bad, just kinda crappy looking and plot that is kinda stupid. It isn't really scary, in fact I laughed through most of it. If its on, give it a look, but if your expecting an awesome movie about Feedback, just change the channel. I give the movie a 3/10.
