RyothChatty ridiculous rating
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
toryaharris NOT EVERY MOVIE TO A BOOK HAAS TO BE THE EXACT SAME. THAT MAKES IT LAME!!!!!!! James Dashner, Wes Ball and T.S. Nowlin did amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You made me love the movie from the beginning it is now one of my favorite movies. I love how it is a direct continuation of the last one. The cast is amazing and they seem so cool with each other i love to see the cast close as well so i didn't really hate any characters because of the closeness outside the set. I LOVE IT AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE IT!! I've re-watched this so many times. to all the book readers that are mad OH WELL. It did not have to be perfect. If you wanted a perfect movie for the book then you should have asked the author to create it then because Wes can do what he want. Wes BASED it on the book that doesn't mean every detail in the book has to be in the movie. anyone else who wants to watch it i suggest binge watching all 3 to keep the action and adventure going.
FandomFanatic21 Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, is the follow up sequel following Thomas and the rest of the Gladers on their journey outside the maze where W.I.C.K.D has them in their clutches so they can find the cure for the flare. Scorch Trials is good though not better than the first. This film introduces new characters, a new game of survival, and last but not least, CRANKS (zombies of the future). The film kind of drags, though brings a new light to the story. Now, the second movie does not stay true to the books, though opens a new door for the series as it becomes a pop culture phenomenon."Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope has killed more of my friends than the Flare and Scorch combined."-Brenda, Maze Runner: Scorch Trials
adonis98-743-186503 After having escaped the Maze, the Gladers now face a new set of challenges on the open roads of a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is better than the first film in the Series but just like with the first Maze Runner film the plot is not good and the narrative goes back and forth for the entire running time of 131mins (which is a bit too much as well). But unlike with the previous film there's a bit more action this time and the scene with the Zombies was good and it's cgi better than i was expecting plus we get some new faces and some new villains too but it's plot at times leads nowhere and even tho it's talented cast tries and succeeds the film's script doesn't do what it's meant to be. Overall Maze Runner 2 is better than the first movie in the Franchise but still not as good as it could have been. (6.5/10)
bethaniebaker I had a feeling after watching the first movie and noticing the parts that were incorrect or never happened in the book, but I still had some hope that maybe, just maybe this movie would be watchable. I was wrong. First of all, Mr. Wes Ball, do me a favor and never produce another movie again, and if you so feel inclined to embaress yourself again, maybe actually read the book before making a movie about it. The movie was so far from what actually happened its disgraceful. One of the biggest concepts of the plot of the book was the actual "Scorch Trials," which was never even explained or touched in the movie, it was just teenagers and a middle aged man running in a post apoctlyptic town with zombies looking for "The Right Hand" which doesn't even exist in the book. There was no plot and a bunch of characters and scenarios were added for no reason. The book has 360 pages of pure gold and the director just went completely rogue and made up his own concept. quite honestly, the director could have did that exact same movie and just gave it a differt title and changed the characters names and no one would even make the connection that it was even The Maze Runner series, thats how completely far off it was. and yes, I could not even finish the movie. I was that furious ans disgusted with whatever it was Wes Ball did. Do not bother watching if you enjoyed the book.
