Trained at the famed Bauhaus art school in Germany, Marguerite Wildenhain was one of Europe’s most talented ceramicists. During World War II, she fled to America and started a new life with exiled Jewish artists at an isolated ranch in northern California, Pond Farm. This documentary follows her extraordinary story as a refugee and shows how a generation of artists journeyed to Guerneville to learn from the esteemed master potter.
