As host of his own hit TV series, 'MAN VS', Doug Woods is forced to fend for himself for five days in remote locations with no crew, food, or water, only the cameras he carries on his back to film his experiences. Doug's in the remote woods for a routine episode, until he's awoken by an earth-shaking crash. Things get weirder as it becomes clear Doug isn't alone. Someone or something is watching him.

Man Vs. Audience Reviews

Matcollis This Movie Can Only Be Described With One Word.
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Cody One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
jakerchief Semi-predictable movie with a rather dull twist ending. Dino really did a great job in the emotional department and I'd love to see him in something better than this as the lead. The monster is cgi and it shows. Why they didn't go with practical fx really bugs me. The editing is pretty good and I dig the lighting of the movie but something about the writing and bad fx really took me out of a movie that truly had potential.
samlamanna I thought that the movie was really cool how the thing that was stalking him was copying everything that he did, and I think this movie is very underrated. It was interesting how he was a TV show host and was a survival expert. I really liked it, until all the tension and buildup of the thing stalking him turned out to be some crappy CGI alien thing. I thought that this movie could've been one of the best I've ever seen if the thing stalking him was a crazy guy who has killed anybody who entered the woods. The whole alien thing really ruined it for me and the ending was disappointing, but I still say that you should give it a try and watch it.
MrJoe1987 Every once in awhile, you stumble across a random movie that does more than just hold your attention. This was a surprisingly good sci-fi/thriller, even with the obviously low budget which is apparent in the terrible CGI; like something you would see in a SyFy channel movie. The ending was pretty cool, too, and it was not what I was expecting.Pretty good movie, in my opinion. It's on Netflix Instant, so it can't hurt to give it a watch if you're looking to burn eighty minutes.
mauro volvox ... but it is a pretty decent movie.Obviously, the budget for it was minimal. But a decent direction, good script and nice acting conspired to make "Man Vs." into a very entertaining survival film with some sci-fi elements. The location, main actor are perfectly chosen. The story moves at a good pace, we are kept guessing (as intended by the director) and the conclusion was also interesting. It is a lesson on how to make quality work with little money. It is much better than I expected. Give it a try
