A man lives under a motorway bridge over a polluted river where it meets the sea on the outskirts of picturesque Cape Town. Trying to rebuild his life after 10 years in prison, Zane's back story reveals an upbringing in a poor white community, drug addiction, a car chase and shoot out with the police followed by a 10 year prison sentence for armed robbery.
