Lust in Space: The Erotic Witch Project IV Audience Reviews

Cortechba Overrated
Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
Brennan Camacho Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
lor_ Though lost in the shuffle as a followup to Seduction Cinema's BLAIR WITCH spoof, LUST IN SPACE has its own niche as the New Jersey porn outfit's tribute to bosomy starlet Alexia Moore.Producer and Seduction/After Hours/Secret Key honcho Michael Raso gives a self-revealing interview as a DVD extra, making no bones about his (and his company's) crass approach. There's no delusions of grandeur, just grinding out soft porn, or latterly emphasizing the revival of vintage hardcore.Premise here is that house talent Darian Caine and A.J. Khan, plus newcomer Moore, travel from the future in their spaceship (Raso jokes about it having a hardwood floor, why not?) left over from a sci-fi movie made for their other label Shock-O-Rama, to 1999 to get to the bottom of the virus/plague encountered in prior EROTIC WITCH videos. It's no surprise that their oversexed antics turn out to be the cause of the plague in the first place (typical time travel perils). With director Bacchus (using an acting pseudonym of "Jimmy Doyle") and other jerks hamming it up in the usual unfunny comedy relief mode, focus is rather on the femmes simulating lesbian sex, unconvincingly but at great length. An R-rated skin flick of this ilk would have sex scenes running less than a minute to tease/cheat the fans, while cable-ready soft X editions favor the 4-minute vignette of pawing, licking and grinding. Here they run on for 8 to 10 minutes, interminable if you're not a fan.But I am a card-carrying fan of this nonsense, and was very pleased to see the top-heavy Miss Moore not just thrown into the soup (as is usually the case for the more bombastic starlets compared to slim regulars like Caine, Khan, Mundae and Wells) but presented center stage. She has three lengthy sex scenes that eat up more than 25% of the total running time, paired with Caine, Khan and then both of them. Bacchus directs these scenes so poorly that the footage in each looks like looped/stretched repeat shots, but probably was all new, just lacking variety.Moore presents quite a package and I enjoyed watching her. DVD gives a brief interview where she talks about her breast obsession, plus a fairly tantalizing 19-minute featurette JACKIE'S HOT PROPERTY of her being adored by co-star Jackie Stevens, latter playing a chatty real estate agent.Stevens and the unexciting Bethany Lott are also in the main feature, mainly teamed, for a change, with porn stud Brian Bishop, who has Julian-styled tattoos and simulates sex OK with the gals, but looks suspiciously like a ringer from the wonderful world of XXX porn.Raso jokes that it was inevitable that his mini-franchise go into space (working title here was SPACEWITCH), after all as he notes, even LEPRECHAUN went into space (for its fourth edition too). It's certainly OK for the fans, God bless 'em, but when you're a filmmaker (or video-maker) and LEPRECHAUN is high up there in your consciousness something is seriously wrong.
