I was interested in this movie because of it's high rating here of 8,5. So, Bollywood is something I dislike completely because of no story and singing and dancing (I hate when they do that) but I thought this movie has may some real story and must be somehow a great thing to watch. 1 st. attempt was 10 minutes long, then I could not stand any longer this rush kind of speaking about nothing. I became bored and stopped watching. 2nd and last attempt brought me at least through most of the film but the end I skipped with no regret. I couldn't find anything fascinating in what I saw. Sure it is great work for a crowd funded film and for once I indeed enjoyed the singing and dancing, as it was the good and professional parts of the movie :), but under the line it was nothing what I would put into one of my favorite lists. Female audience may be attract to this movie but it was nothing for me.

Before speaking about the film there are many questions raised regarding the geniality of the review and ratings awarded to the film.After all its quite natural that a user may find it amusing that a Kannada film has managed to collect such acclaim when the current state of Kannada films present a sorry state.This film is a result of the vision of an extremely hardworking bunch of film makers as you can see that its the first Kannada film to be funded via crowd sourcing.This movie is real treat to genuine film afficianodo's.you will find that its quite a while that you watch a film with non linear pattern presented with such precision .

One of the gems in Indian cinema. creatively narrated with very good twist in the ending.thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end.. all characters did good job and main character's two shades impressive and did justice to his role.really appreciate the director to attempt this kind of cinema and he won. if you movies like inception,shutter island this is the movie which makes you feel think and it reflects in mind after watching too. the story may not be digested by all kinds of viewers. personally i like it a lot. great to see the movies like this from Indian soil. if you are into class and creative films you are not going to regret it.Just watch it..

Though basically from Bangalore, i have to admit i haven't seen many Kannada films. But i was keen on watching this given all the hullabaloo that preceded the making of the movie. And boy, was it worth the wait?!! Lucia has to be one of the best(if not the best!!)to come out of the Indian movie scene in recent times. The non-linear structure of the movie ensures that the viewer DOES NOT have to leave his brains back home. One has to really concentrate on the proceedings to stay in tune with the flow.The film does tend give one the notion of taking the "traditional" route of such movies for most part of the second half but springs a terrific surprise towards the end that is sure to end this movie watching experience on a high.Do watch this if non-conformist movies are your type.
