Aimo and Milla are living together at Milla's alcoholics-turned-zombies parents' place. They save money to move out of the house. Due to his lack of self confidence, Aimo wastes their savings to turbo-boost his muscles. As conventional body building is not quite satisfactory, Aimo tunes himself up into a robot. Milla doesn't like the new Aimo-Robot and leaves him. Aimo´s heartache leads him to extreme measures as he also changes his heart into a metal one, one that doesn't hurt. Milla decides to steal Aimo heart: after all, a woman needs to have a man´s heart. Lovemilla is an anarchistic comedy trip, a comedy about love, a story about love, robots and bodybuilding.

Lovemilla Audience Reviews

Grimerlana Plenty to Like, Plenty to Dislike
Inadvands Boring, over-political, tech fuzed mess
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Winifred The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
Reinier De Vlaam I saw this movie on the notorious BUTFF (B-movies, underground, trash, film festival in Breda (Netherlands). It was a solid opening of the festival that gives a platform for the most weird (and low-budget) movies in this world. Now this movies can not be considered trash or underground, therefor it has too many mainstream elements. On the other hand the whole story and side-plots are weird and sometimes disturbing....and funny. And therefor clearly not mainstream. The deeper story line is about desires, uncertainty and choices, while in the same time there are kicks towards normal society (people become zombies when drunk). Sometimes the movie however looses it a bit with silliness, certainly towards the end. However the actual end is quite ingenious. It looks like the writers sometimes struggled to fill the time at some points. All in all a worthwhile evening
