Best friends Mary-Ann (Foster) and Sandy (Thompson) are finally taking their dream expedition to New Zealand. They are accompanied by their teenage daughters Jaretha (Gillette) and Kerry (Nicoll). Issues of first night frights from the local wildlife and daughters that can't stand each other become insignificant when they come face to face with Kiwi poachers. No match for gun-toting guys, the four find themselves held prisoner and fearing for their lives.

Lost Valley Audience Reviews

Comwayon A Disappointing Continuation
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Freeman This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Jemima It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
Jackson-12 I have to say this movie especially caught my attention with the scenic environments and creative camera work. Mandie Gillette's role was the best throughout the film and she plyed it without flaw. Young ones should particularly enjoy the film as it has no extreme violence, language, or adult content. It was nice to see a film that could be something worth watching with children instead of being bored to death or having to tell them to leave the room. Good flick.
MD-11 A good little action film for kids 7 - 12 years. Lots of action without sex or bad language although there is a fairly explicit fist fight. The plot is easy to follow for kids and the photography is excellent. I saw it with a group of about 150 kids who all loved it. Some found it a little scary in places.
cat-76 This movie should have been done for T.V. The acting and character development was weak and the plot very thin. A much made over plot about mothers and daughters finding themselves with a title that has nothing to do with the content of the movie. A waste of a video rental.
