Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Matrixiole Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
Cassandra Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Darin One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
gridoon2018 Andre Dussolier and Victoria Abril play an eccentric middle-aged French couple who have set up their own little private supermarket in their basement. After accidentally killing a rich old lady neighbor of theirs, they think that they will be her inheritors, but all her fortune goes to a mysterious - and never seen before by either of them - Algerian, who moves in next door. Suspecting that there is something wrong with this guy, they begin to spy on him and follow him around....Dussolier and Abril are talented actors who seem to be having fun working together (and Abril has still got "it"), but their performances are so consistently broad here that they tend to cross over into overacting. The film is designed to be a comedy-mystery, but it's a pretty ho-hum experience, until an interesting and quite unexpected turn of events near the end. A ** out of 4 seems about right.
