Les Démons de Jésus Audience Reviews

SeeQuant Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Brennan Camacho Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
math-elh I give this movie a 10, because it is probably one of the last french movie that was made with a true scenario evolving around ... nothing, just following a poor family in north of France, and with absolutely brilliant dialogs. This has become a cult movie for an entire generation thanks to its dialogs and hundreds of cult quotes from all the actors. you can compare this with the traditional french movies from the 60s, 70s, with Jean Gabin, Louis de Funer, Bernard Blier etc.... Forget the movie which had a great success and even won a Cesar, the french academy award, few years ago, Les Chtis, also about the people from the north... if there is one french movie you must see to understand french sense of humor of the 80/90s generation, Les Demons de Jesus is surely the unique example to put on top of your list... you gotta understand french though, I'm not sure these quotes can be translated into any language and sound as funny !
