Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Kung Fury is what you get when you take 80's action movie cheese and mix with a healthy dose of satire and every 80's movie cliche you can imagine. The result is just pure awesomeness. The original movie was only supposed to be about 10-20 minutes but when they put it on Kickstarter suddenly the money came rolling in and they just kept adding to it and adding to it until it topped out at 40 minutes. The story itself is... every 80's movie ever made. You've got the buddy cop story. You've got the cool 80's hacker. You've got a revenge motive. You've got martial arts. And you have David Hasselhoff. And there's also time travel, laser raptors, Viking babes, Thor and the most evil martial artist of all time Adolf Hitler a.k.a. Kung Fuhrer. It's ridiculous. It's silly. And it's altogether awesome. Do yourself a favor and check it out on Youtube.

Massive in-joke full of tongue-in-cheek references to eighties' action movies, kung-foolery, Frank Frazetta posters, arcade video games, He-man era animation, cheese-and-cleavage adventure films, etc. After 5 minutes I was relieved to find out that it was only 30 minutes long, but even then it almost outstayed its welcome. Interesting and well done (for what it is) but not particularly clever or memorable. I won't be holding my breath for the sequel but I'm sure others will be.

This movie short is absolutely fantastic. Everything about it is bazaar, strange, and nonsensical and it all comes together to create one of the funniest 30 minutes in the history of of Betamax. It is all wrapped up in a brilliantly crafteded veneer of 80s pop culture. Our hero is a Kung Fu cop who embodies the performances of Johnny Depp (21 Jump Street), Keanu Reeves (The Matrix), and Charlie Sheen (The Wraith) with 10 times the talent of those three put together. I could try to give spoilers but you would not believe these things were assembled in to 30 minutes of awesome.See this movie short.
