Justice League vs. Teen Titans Audience Reviews

ScoobyMint Disappointment for a huge fan!
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
2freensel I saw this movie before reading any reviews, and I thought it was very funny. I was very surprised to see the overwhelmingly negative reviews this film received from critics.
Francene Odetta It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
alex_popa_81 I just really don't get what the hell is happening here. Are there 2 DC companies on the market producing super-hero movies or I'm loosing my mind? How can you make such great animated movies and such disasters in super-hero movies like Justice League and Superman vs. Batman and so on? Simple is great. What is so hard to understand in this case? Look at what great animated movies DC makes (Justice League vs. Teen Titans, JLA Flashpoint Paradox, Battle on Two Earths and the list can go on and on forever) and just think what you can do on big screen. You don't have to rely on Ben A. or Gal G. to do the job, you can use even 3rd hand actors with just a little spark of intelligence in writing and a small amount of CGI. It's not always about "How much money I can spend on a movie to make it great?" or "Who is the best actor that can act on any piece of crap script I write?", it's just using something already invented and taking the next step.... putting to big or small screen. Honestly guys, you have so much GREAT material you can inspire from, you can make a 10 seasson TV series and still it would be greater than everything I saw since the end of Dark Knight's trilogy. This movie for example is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. Character development is good, some cliche's here and there but OK, not to many to be borring, a lot of action, good screenplay, smart plot and over all the story has potential for a follow-up. Just keeping us interested on what's coming next. Just, WHY THE HELL you cannot do this thing on the big-screen as well? With a huge budget and 1st hand actors? WHY? Are you planning to let Marvel win more and more fans? I'm starting to think that this is your hidden agenda.
DMoney1184 Not sure what more to say: my title kind of says it all. I picked this up for about $2 on a Black Friday sale and yeah, that's about what it's worth. The animation is good and the music is good. However, the whole fight between "The Justice League vs. the Teen Titans" is one very quick scene where the Flash, Wonder Woman and Cyborg, under alien control, quickly dispatch the Teen heroes. It's disappointing: mind control? We've only seen that a few dozen times. It isn't much of a fight. The plot goes pretty much where you expect it to. All in all, it's not a bad move per se but there's not much here for the adult lover of comics. A few of the jokes get a laugh but it's not even as compelling or well written as some of the episodes of Batman: the Animated Series. If you're looking for something to keep your 8 year old boy entertained, this will do the trick. Just don't expect wowed by it.
jesseeliza "Huge Red Flag" This review is for Christians than the regular public who don't believe in demonic forces. I for one am shocked that DC would put this out in a animated form mainly for children's consumption(comic books are one thing, most everybody knows to treat them like Playboy magazines).. This story line was way too grown-up and disturbing.First I'm No prune and I love me some death and sex scenes in my movies. Some would say I fall short from being a Christian and they would be right on...But this is right on shameful and disgusting. Don't let your children watch this if you don't want them to be exposed to this kind of stuff. From now on - I'm going to treat DC like I treat HBO - parent supervision at all times.
Andrew Jerome I had been really looking forward to this title, as I was a fan of both "Justice League" and "Young Justice". Unfortunately, this really falls flat. It was certainly not what I was expecting. For starters, it was disappointing to see the JL operating with an incomplete roster, with Green Lantern and Aquaman missing. The opening scene, where mention is made that they're fighting The Legion of Doom, piqued my interest briefly. This was far from entertaining though as there were only 4 villains involved, without a Black Manta, Giganta or Sinestro anywhere to be seen.My interest again returned when the image of Titans Tower appeared. Sadly, once again, a mere cast of 4 uninteresting and somewhat flat Titans appeared, with irritating character voices and 2 dimensional personalities. So in short, the characterization was really poor in this movie. As an adult, I found some scenes embarrassing and cringe worthy to watch, and chose to Fast Forward the entire carnival scene. Maybe this movie was made to appeal to children, but I have felt more comfortable watching "The Challenge of the Superfriends".By the time the final battle happened, I was already checking my Facebook messages on my iPhone, and wondering what housework needed to be done.I really wanted this movie to be better, but truthfully, this was a really poor effort. When you hear that the two greatest DC superhero teams are battling each other, you expect fireworks. Unfortunately this provided less sparks than a wet Roman Candle.
