Wow! Such a good movie.

It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

The way the three stories were narrated, was not what appealed to me very much.It would have been better if the three stories were acted out one after the other with "no connection" at all. As far as the direction and acting is concerned, it couldn't have been better except for the little kids of "golpo dadur ashor". The music was "fantabulous" and there should have been more of it.Anathbabur Bhoy: The story, as written by Ray, is too good. An incident which Dwijenbabu heard from the villager while visiting the house should have been omitted, as after hearing how the villager's ghost can be seen in the premises of the ruins, it was easily predictable that Anathbabu drinking tea in the morning was his ghost, and not himself. Nevertheless, the ending took everyone by surprise, and I must admit, was more successful in amazing the audience than the book could.Brown Saheber Diary: once again, the story is nonpareil, but the false alarms that rang the three as they were playing cards, were too many in number. bhaswar Chattejee did not act well enough. And, Sandip Ray spoiled it with the terrible animation of the cat again, after Royal Bengal rahasyaBhut Bhobisyot: Kya baat kya baat kya baat!!

Sandip Ray has done it again. He has an immense potential of making a fool out of himself even with the best stories possible. He has done a similar f*cked up job with GOROSTHANE SABDHAN and almost all other 'Feluda' movies and yet again he messed up even with possibly the three most famous ghost stories in Bengali literature. Except the great performances by Paran Banerjee and Saswata Chatterjee the movie would have been an utter failure. 4/10 that I've given is just for the duo and their incredible capability to make audience glued to their seats. The first of the three stories ANATH BABUR BHOY by Satyajit Ray is my favourite ghost stories and trust me I've read a lot. I was shocked to watch a story like that being destroyed and ripped off its very eerie and intriguing ghostliness to a mere substandard plot. If anyone of you guys think that you do like the movie then I have only one request, please do read the original stories cause I'm damn sure that you will enjoy more.

Unlike the title details of the page the movie contains 3 stories related to ghosts and 'Tarini khuro' is telling those stories to a bunch of kids... I had a mixed experience after watching the movie...the first story was very average.. not scary though it is made to scare you... little overacting by Dijen babu spoils the fun, even the direction is poor.....2nd story is better but still not scary enough.. better acting from the cast though....but the third and last story is the one that everyone would enjoy the most... it's a ghost story but not a story to scare you...it's a funny story with very good acting by Saswata and paran... and this is the part when you feel you got something out of the movie which was expected to be a good one.. still a good watch for people who love great Satyajit Roy's stories to be told through movies (though the movie contains a story by Sharadindu Bondopadhyay as well)... a 5 from me... gave 6 just because the movie has connection with Satyajit Roy!!
