Jeepers Creepers Audience Reviews

RipDelight This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.
DipitySkillful an ambitious but ultimately ineffective debut endeavor.
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
jakemcginnis One of the only reasons people give this movie negative reviews is because of the director...
jonconnormustlive-46298 Jeepers Creepers follows a grown-up brother and sister taking the backroads home when they discover a mysterious man appearing to dump bodies, they're investigation finds them stalked by a deadly monster called the Creeper.Jeepers Creepers blends several comedic moments into a movie that's creepy and disturbing. The Creeper is a cool and intense creature, the way his appearance can change based off lighting and wardrobe is cool. The effects are also really good. Sticking to being practical rather then CGI.There are some good disturbing scenes many of which are enhanced by the films great score. The actors are solid, never feeling unrealistic. My only gripe is the main two characters. They're typical bickering annoying siblings, not to mention they make some dumb decisions. But that seem the norm now in modern horror movies. It's still a lot of fun. Highly recommended!
bradluna I thought this was a joke of a horror movie, kind of like the Sharknado series, except they aren't serious. Justin Long was a poor choice, his bravado isn't believable, he wants to impress his sister, wtf?? Horror movies don't have to be people making absolutely stupid, unexplainable choices, that's the hallmark of a bad horror movie, just the same as horror films that only rely on loud bangs and flashes of light or 'scary' images. It's funny how many people think this was an good movie, but then again the masses usually like crap!
Fella_shibby I first saw this on a rented DVD in 2002. Without watching any trailers or reading bah it. I was pleasantly surprised. It is one of ma fav horror movi. Best part was that most of the movie was shot in daylight capturing some good cinematography. The place where the demon/creature throws the body was creepy. Even his truck was kinda creepy. I was not able to make out what exactly it was. First i thot it might b some psycho trying to scare people on the highway, then I thot might b a serial killer dumping bodies. But I was taken for a jolly good surprise. What excellent suspense the director was able to create. Victor Salva did a terrific job. It was full of tension. The movi doesn't lose momentum when the creature is revealed. To me it looked like the demon from Wishmaster. The size n the power (flying, growing body parts again) really added to the scare factor. There is body count after the creature is revealed n good amount of suspense n tension before it is revealed. The acting was good too. Gina Philips n Justin long did a good job. Horror fans will not be disappointed. Saw the second part in a theatre in a suburban Mumbai theater. The sequel was good too.
