It's All About Love Audience Reviews

Cubussoli Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
GurlyIamBeach Instant Favorite.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
nemod12 I categorize my movies for myself in different an maybe strange order. But everybody does these things the way they do to maintain order for themselves. I myself found this film very intriguing. For that i cannot understand it's low rating. In my town are 4 cinema's but only 1 brings out the more alternative films that just don't really fit the mass of the people. I do not feel myself more than anyone else. But when i go to see a movie in this theater i always feel that i am among most aware and intellect intelligent people. I do not have that in a normal cinema where the next batman film is been played. ( i liked the last 3 batman movies very much tho). But it's different. When i walked out of the cinema watching this film i had very mixed and strange feelings. I didn't really knew what to think or feel. And i think that is a good thing. It is not a microwave meal to take away.I can imagine that some people found the strangeness of the film a disappointment. Little example. When i walked out of this cinema some years ago, seeing eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, i had this same kind of feeling. Not exactly the same of course, but a certain kind of confusing that can be very cool in a movie. Please people, don't let you lead by the ratings and give this film a chance. There is some art in here. It's definitely not a very ordinary film, but for me it was well worth the watch and to be baffled. i hope i spelled that correct. See it and experience.
Olga Krylova An interesting film with a lot of multicultural context in it: American, European, Slavic, very international. Perhaps as only a good Danish producer can make it. The movie is very well-made. Vinterberg is great, never regretted watching any of his works. Festen is above all, of course. Sean Penn is always great, too. His role is like a modern demiurg observing the world from above flying over it on the board of an airplane... Just like the rest of the actors in this movie. I kind of don't really like Claire Danes for her Juliette in Romeo+Juliette 1996 role... The skaters remind about Dega's dancers. But anyway I'd definitely recommend to those who've not seen it to add it to their "pending" list and devote some time to enjoying it. Even if it leaves a bit puzzled there is more to this film than any regular Hollywood movie. It is smart, with an idea about rapidly changing world affecting people's hearts. There is a bit exaggeration but isn't that unavoidable in making a movie impressive enough to reach its audience? There are interesting sceneries, music that fits into scenes it is chosen for. It is an absorbing and strange movie that should not leave you indifferent. It is fun ;) If someone is expecting another dogma #1 it's not quite what you are going to get but if you shift your expectations to something like You the Living type of movie that is odd but leaves a lot of space for thoughts and feelings you'll definitely find pleasure in It Is All about Love. The spectator has to learn not to get the answers in the movie like in most American best-sellers but to develop own ideas, be a thinking man, considerate and understanding, aware of realities of life and what's beyond them.
zena-1 This film is poor, unconvincing and boring. What a waste of good actors! What were they thinking to take part in this drivel? There are plot holes to drive a train through and contradictions such as "is there a telephone?" when he uses a cell phone in another scene. Among other inconsistencies there are poles who don't appear to speak Polish and a champion ice skater who smokes. Does the director really think that, in the future, smoking won't be a thing of the past?Having said all that I can think of about this truly dreadful waste of time, I have to add that Joaquin Phoenix is one of my favorite actors and was the main reason I began to watch this garbage.
stavr0ghin I can't in any way comprehend how can someone say that he/she can't understand this film. If you have more than 16 years and you didn't understand this movie than you should never touch a film from now on and comment on IMDb as if your opinion matters in some way. This movie is a ultimate work of art.. a masterpiece. If you didn't understand it than make the good choice.. watch it again and again and again, until you will get it you **** or kill yourself.. Because of you this film has a overall note of 5 and this kind of films will never be made because you ***** represent the majority, the public...Whatever, if your IQ is higher than 5 than go see this movie. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.11 out of 10. a masterpiece
